It is an ideal location for exploring the island, with easy access to fantastic taken (2 minutes walk) to the North and its fabulous landscapes. The terrace of the house offers a fabulous panoramic and unobstructed views of the ocean and the mountain.

This was our dream family vacation for our family of 10! We had the pool, the beach (don't miss the morning coffee here), and the town all at our fingertips. We cooked in the well-equipped kitchen and ate long dinners outside by the pool. We tried our hand at surfing just down the road at the public beach and walked for an afternoon snack and wine. My kids rekindled their interest in tennis, which was an unexpected takeaway from the trip. At night, everyone retired to their own bedrooms, and my husband and I enjoyed the privacy of the upstairs suite with a balcony. This is a hidden treasure in southern Portugal. The home was very clean but not sterile, and beautifully reflected the warmth and culture of Portugal.Ana is the most attentive host we have ever had. She gave advice on trips, restaurants, and shopping. She addressed the small concerns we had almost before I got off the phone with her. She is delightful to work with. By mid-week, our family was already planning another trip back.
