On the doorstep of Arthur's Seat and Holyrood Palace gates, yet in the heart of the city, this beautiful home is the perfect base to explore the hustle and bustle or just relax.

This centrally located, spacious and characteristic lower villa from the 1800’s is on the doorstep of Arthur Seat and Holyrood Palace and convenient for the train and bus.
The property has two bedrooms, a large lounge (with double sofabed), main door entrance and private garden at the rear and the front. There is a bathroom with shower and toilet and a shower room off the main bedroom.
There is also free, unrestricted, street parking if you have your own transport. There's a private front and rear garden to sit out with drinks, but with the extinct volcano forming the Queen's Park literally on the doorstep you might prefer to explore that!

Nice house. Definitely comfortable. The beds were so comfy. Only issue we had was the walls are pretty thin and we could hear upstairs neighbors at night and side neighbors BUT if you are used to apartment noises, it is just fine. All in all very welcoming home and space. Easy to take taxi places.

This home was a lovely place to stay for our week in Edinburgh. It’s as described. It’s in a quiet neighborhood convenient to bus stops and within walking distance to a grocery store and the park. Kitchen is pretty well equipped, and we really appreciated the bath robes! One tip—bring slippers or socks to wear as the floors can get cold. Yvonne is an excellent host—proactive and responsive. We hope to stay here again.

We found the property clean and just what we needed for our first visit to the area with our daughter and her husband from Australia and we would recommend it to anyone paying a visit to the area
