About this house rental
As you drive down our wooded lane you leave behind your hectic daily life and enter your own private refuge.
The Main House has 4 BRs and 3.5 baths. The main floor has open floor plan w/ a gourmet kitchen, a 6-seat island, dining room table for 10, and a naturally lighted sitting room with an old fashioned wood stove. The main floor MBR contains a king bed, private bath w/large two head shower, and a private balcony. Off the dining area is another balcony and a covered/screened-in porch. The kitchen has a stove and gas grill with all the utensils needed to prepare a feast for family and friends.
The lower level offers 3 spacious BRs w/ queen beds w/built-in bookcases, 2 full baths and walk out access to a large backyard. The centrally located media room contains a large TV and lots of comfortable seating.
The Coach House has 2 queen sized BRs and 1 full bath. A game area with pool, foosball, poker, and air hockey tables. Also a video seating area.
A brick walkway leads to a private pond, deck/pier w/arbor, hot tub and lots of outdoor furniture to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.
Renters of Galena Territory homes have access to a Marina(to fish or rent boats, tennis courts), Owner's Club(fitness room, basketball court, new indoor/outdoor pool), Golf Courses(63-holes & driving range), Winter Sports(ice skating, sledding, cross country skiing), Shennadoah Riding Center(trail rides & lessons).

The house was in a beautiful peaceful area. Clean and warm inside. There was plenty of room for us to have our own space and get together for meals and games. I would highly recommend renting this house and exploring the area!

Loved the location. House (and extra space over the garage) size was great for our group of 9. Could use some updates, but overall worked well.

Beautiful setting and loved the rustic charm of the home. Much of the high rafter decor was pretty dusty, but the living areas were clean and tidy. No coffee present and the nearest store was (as best we could determine) a 1/2 hour away. Had we known, we would have stopped to picked some up on the way in. (I don't think I've ever stayed at a VRBO before that didn't provide coffee or pods). We were also shocked to discover (after booking and arrival) that we were expected to haul out our trash to a landfill 6 miles away! Only expect that when remote camping, not when paying a required cleaning fee. Overall, the stay was fine.
