The location is super convenient with the 7-11 located right next to entrance. I booked the room with 2 beds and extendable sofa bed. Size is comparatively larger than the usual japanese hotel room. The room located on ground floor next to the common area , but sound proof is very supportive. The only thing is the bath room design which there is no storage space to put the clean clothes and easy to get wet everywhere. We didnt try the onzen and other hotel breakfast. Next time would like to give a try.

Very good facilities with Hoshino, not just inside the hotel but also the nearby area like a village.

Honestly considering the Name and Price I expected a lot more. The Hotel and Rooms are well designed with high quality materials but that's about it. They only provide the bare minimum of amenities. I have been to over 40 different Hotels in Japan, even much cheaper ones and this is the only one that didn't even provide a tea bag (although there was a water kettle in the room). No free drinks, not even a water bottle. If you want to make a simple drip coffee you have to buy a drip bag for 350yen!! Are you serious?? Better walk 20 meters to 7-11 and buy fresh coffee for 180 yen! Location is ok-ish. It's near most "attractions" this town has but it's far from the station and there is no free shuttle bus to the station. The public bus only runs every hour or so.
