Hamilton Arms

Room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. All staff were friendly, pleasant and efficient. Good to be,able to park easily and near our room. The pub was very convenient and the food in the Thai restaurant was superb.

The only negative is that despite the extreme heat, there was no fan in the room. With only 4 rooms, a fan should have been provided in each room. Fortunately we had taken one from home just in case.

Conveniently situated behind the very good Hamilton Arms Thai Restaurant, in a pretty village. Parking right outside property, dog friendly with walks on the door step. Close to Midhurst and many National Trust properties, Arundel Castle and Chichester Cathedral, houses, gardens and a Roman Villa. Our purpose-built en suite accommodation had a really comfortable super king bed, large walk in shower with plenty of hot water. A small fridge was a boon to keep drinks cold in an ongoing heatwave. Breakfast was provided in a hamper. Fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, cereal bars, biscuits,croissants, jam, milk, orange juice and bottled water was certainly welcome. The staff were really helpful and friendly and there’s a great family atmosphere.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. What would have made it 11/10 would have been the option of a cooked breakfast!

Everything was perfect From getting there, to the time we left, we were staying as we were attending a wedding locally and were kindly allowed to check in early to allow us to get changed for the event. So lovely and peaceful location just a shame we couldn't stay longer.

Not a dislike or criticism but due to its country location taxis are not available as would be in the town but necessarily not a bad thing either.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The fan was appreciated. The bathroom was clean and spacious with nice toiletries and good quality towels.

No breakfast was provided desolate a continental breakfast being included in the price of the room. There was very little space in the carpark we could not open our bathroom window. The courtyard lights shine straight into the room and couldn’t be blocked out so it was difficult to sleep.
