Excellent place and we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and immaculate annex to the main building. Separate, private entrance and great secure parking. Very friendly hosts who provided fruit, biscuits, bacon and eggs and milk which was an unexpected treat and very much appreciated.

Excellent apartment - we loved it. Clean, well organised and provided everything we needed. It's very close to Buxton centre and also provides an allocated parking space. This made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We would definitely recommend this place to others considering staying in Buxton. We would also happily return for another stay.

It would have been helpful to have coathooks near the front door. One thing that surprised us: we were expected to completely empty the fridge on leaving. This meant throwing away items such as butter and cheese. Having stayed in other self catering places and welcomed food items left by previous occupants, we would have preferred to have left ours. Perhaps this some sort of health and safety rule we have never come upon before?

Very nice property in a great location.

Great location for the shops, restaurants, and Opera House in Buxton. The kitchen was stocked with great coffee facilities, and the place was well-appointed and very clean. Good parking in the assigned place.

They did not leave enough toilet paper for our 6 night stay, so we need to buy some.

Perfect stay in the heart of Buxton

The apartment was warm and cosy with everything we needed. It was finished to a high standard and the host was very responsive to my messages.

The messaging which came via Booking.com was a little confusing. It appeared that the same message was being sent multiple times when in fact additional information was being added at the end of the original lengthy e-mail

Simply the Best

This was our second visit to Buxton. We cannot recommend the property highly enough. The property was spotlessly clean, with first class amenities. The location was ideal for the fantastic opera house, where we visited to watch the Illegal Eagles. Most of the local Restaurants are within walking distance. There is a variety of cuisine available, we tried the French, Spanish and Thai and all were excellent. For the English Sunday lunch we travelled on the bus to the beautiful village of Ashford in the Water. There are 2 pubs doing wonderful food. We visited the Bulls Head for a Sunday roast ( delicious) booking advised. Thank you Elena for making our stay in Buxton enjoyable. We will certainly recommend The Weathertop to our friends and family. regards Roy & Judith

A brilliant, comfortable property from which to visit this wonderful part of the country

This is a lovely property in a leafy location close to everything in Buxton. We felt relaxed and at home from the first minute. Thanks to Elana the host for creating such a fabulous place to stay. My wife, who was previously an events organiser, was very impressed with the attention to detail as was I. We really appreciated how much effort had gone into enabling us to have a wonderful 3 days.

The apartment was extremely comfortable and well furnished/equipped. It was very close to the centre of town but in a lovely, quiet and peaceful location. The host was swift to respond to all of our communications and extremely helpful and kind.

Excellent central location - shops, restaurants and cafes all easy walking distance and a good starting place for exploring the rest of the Peaks. Very useful allocated parking. Apartment was spacious, decorated to a high standard and spotless. The owner’s communications were very clear and welcoming. I would definitely use again.

Luxurious flat in a beautiful location to explore the Peak District

Location was ideal. The flat was extremely comfortable and was beautifully warm in cold weather. There were lots of additional bonuses such as a bottle of wine, milk, tea/coffee etc. which are really helpful when you first arrive. We eat in every evening and the kitchen had everything we needed which is quite rare in a rented property.

Everything about the property was top class. If I needed anything, it was there - fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, fast internet and the apartment was spotless. Everything was of a very high standard and superb quality from the towels to the wonderful thick pile carpets. I was in Buxton for the Gilbert and Sullivan festival at the Opera House and, I don’t think I could have had an apartment any closer than this one. I’m definitely booking again, festival or not. Well done and thank you!
