Fantastic Casa Luz

This was my husband and my fourth trip to Isla Mujeres. This trip we brought my 88yr old father and our cousin, both whom have never been out of the states. Casa Luz was everything and more than we could have hoped for. The view from the top floor is amazing. Laura our hostess was Awesome!! She was there to greet us when we arrived, she quickly responded to any questions we had during our stay and kept us informed of anything happing on the island. We had such a marvelous trip. We met such wonderful people, had a great time on the beach, took some tours, and we enjoyed the great food. We were sad to leave but look forward to coming back. Thank you Laura, you made our trip that much more special.

The property had everything we needed. The neighborhood was great. Best tacos and drinks just across the road. Also small grocery store we used several times. Ran out of water once but it was fixed by the time we got back to the house from a jaunt around the island. We spent several nights up on the roof, watching the sunset and the stars. Perfect stay.

This house was fantastic for our week on the island! Laura was a pleasure to work with and was always available via text. The pool and grounds are well taken care of. We will definitely be back soon! Also next door is the BEST tacos on the island, we hung out at this place every day before getting ready for dinner. Love the guys at Rancho Capricho!

We really enjoyed the home. It was big enough for the 4 of us to spread out. The location was fantastic. (Punta Sur) It was walking distance to Garrafon park and directly across from the street from the best taco stand and Ranch Capricho. There is also a bar and small grocery store which was super convenient. The home was comfortable and AC was great. Internet was a little spotty but that is Island life for you. The pool was refreshing and the lawn and pool people came everyday to clean up the grounds for us. Half way through our 9 day stay, we have the cleaning service come and refresh. All I asked for was floors but she thoroughly cleaned the home for us. It was sparkling!! The house really is beautiful. Might want to bring some non-slip shoes for the marble floors. We had visiting birds and Iguanas. We love Isla and have enjoyed each VRBO we have stayed in. This one was the biggest and best so far. The only thing lacking was a view but we got on our golf cart and drove all over the island and had plenty of views. The host was very accommodating and helpful. There is a full kitchen. washer/dryer, linens and towels, games, tvs etc...
