This is my second stay, it's safe cosy, warm and meets my needs. This time I booked and prepared food thinking I would have a microwave, learnt if they have a restaurant onsite that a microwave or cutlery aren't provided. I was initially disappointed but that falls on me not checking what the room comes with so if you want to self cater, check and upgrade. Last time I got a free upgrade and so was a little confused. It was still a lovely stay. You will hear road noise through the night, even though the street becomes quiet you'll have the off car drive past with super loud music. Lovely water pressure in the shower and room was beautiful and clean and the receptionist that checked me in was actually a star ✨ she gets 5 stars of her own

The staff member on duty was working alone and very busy, with the hotel nearly full due to a conference next door. Despite this, he did a great job accommodating my daughter and me, and I was very happy with his service. Unfortunately, when I enquired about another stay on Thursday to attend AUT’s South Campus, I was told only three rooms were available, at more than 2.5 times the rate I’d paid for this stay and previous visits. As someone becoming a regular guest, this was disappointing. I feel such a steep increase for the same basic studio room is unreasonable and reminds me of the price gouging we see with petrol. Unfortunately, I’ve now arranged to stay elsewhere.

The room was like a small box, tripping over the luggage trying to get to the bed. Some noise from the Motorway which went all night. This would all have been acceptable except it is a full price hotel.
