Sublime experience, sleeping in the vineyard’s

Incredible experience. Didn’t really know what to expect as it was our first time “ glamping” . It exceeded our expectations . The unit itself is as comfortable as any hotel room , large bed , frig etc etc , with the bonus of being set right in the vineyards ..A nice deck with firepit adds to the total experience . Add to this the delicious wines of the swinging gate winery , and most of the hosts / winery owners Hannah and Corrie which couldn’t do enough to insure our stay was perfect . Such a warm welcome ; wine tasting and provided info on the area ; and to top it off they arranged to deliver pizza. Pizza , wine and great hosts.. doesn’t get much better !

Amazing little getaway spot in heart of Tamar Valley, friendly hosts invited us for a wine tasting at the cellar door, had a complementary bottle of wine and a cheese platter waiting for us in the dome. Lovely to set the camp fire up and sit and look out over the vineyards and watch the birds.

Bed was a little stiff, but had all the other amenities to keep us comfortable and warm :)

Thoroughly enjoyable, cosy night, with an excellent bottle of wine!

We loved everything about Domescapes! The view, the property, the cosy room, the almost instant hot water, the complimentary cheese board and the cellar door… the Swinging Gate Merlot was excellent too!! The staff at the cellar door were so lovely and helpful and the information provided was helpful.

Definitely worth the stay.

The dome accommodation looked SO pretty. Gave a great view over the vinyard and the night sky. Doug and Corrie were AWESOME! Great to have a wine tasting and a cheese board on arrival. Loved the acknowledgement and support of the local community with a $25 off breakfast voucher. Bed was super comfy. Felt private. Would have loved to spend more nights there. We will be back.

Picturesque stay

Amazing wine tasting before a short drive to the dome. Beautiful cheeseboard and bottle of wine on arrival. Toasty fire with marshmallows included was the perfect way to settle in for the night, we also arranged for the add on tasting platter which was incredible.

Amazing experience, do yourself a favour and go!

Brilliant, the location was very central. The dome was a lot of fun!!! But the true experience is the host, Doug and his wife Corrie and Hannah. Nothing was unobtainable, they personally pick up pizza so you are well fed in the evening and vouchers are provided for the breakfast recommendations in Beaconsfield and Exeter, both were excellent! Doug produces a very rare amarone ( the only one in tassie, I think) the 2024 will be released soon….. This stay is value for money!!!! Don’t miss it.

We had shooters on a near by property Friday night and the gas cannons going off during the day wasn’t ideal if I had to pick on anything, overall we had a great weekend:)

An exceptional glamourous stay with complimentary Wine, Cheese Platter and Breakfast voucher. Bravo

We received a voucher to go towards our breakfast, with a choice of three cafe's. We choose one in Exeter which was great. they were very busy, we didn't wait long and the food was great with the service very friendly and helpful.

I cannot think of one thing we didn't like except for the fact we were only able to stay one night, we would have loved to stay another.

I had an unforgettable stay at domescapes with my partner. The accomodation was beautiful and clean with stunning views of the vineyard. The hosts and staff of the swinging gate vineyard were kind, welcoming and an amazing help!! We will definitely be back! (The wine was also delicious)
