We loved everything about this home! The property is so tranquil and beautiful with stunning views from every angle. The house is very spacious and easy to get to/from by car. Very near to grocery shopping, restaurants, and beautiful, historic San Gimignano. The pool was great and swimming with that view in the background was a dream come true! The host's parents met us to give us the keys and even brought us some of the wine they make from the grapes on the property. It was such a thoughtful touch and the wine was delicious!

I feel like we were annoying guests because things weren't super clear. We had issues with the WiFi on the first day (which were fixed by the host, Samuele, very quickly - thank you!) and issues with the exterior lights not coming on at night. We also didn't realize that we needed to hand off the keys in person at the end of our stay, and we didn't plan for that, which caused some confusion and inconvenience for Samuele's parents. That was definitely our fault for not asking for clarification on the check-out process. I do feel that a set of instructions in plain view at the house, covering things like addressing the wifi, outdoor lighting, check-out, and any other minor issues that could come up, would be a helpful addition. I genuinely felt bad every time I had to bother Samuele, but he was as kind and responsive as could be about everything.

The House and location are great. You will love it.

The Haus and its location is perfekt but it is a little bit cold especially at night, There is no enough pillow and blanket.

Without the great location (peacefully settled amongst the hills with beautiful views from the swimming pool) this house wouldn't continue attracting guests. The house itself is in serious need of some maintenance and even the most basic accessories (toilet paper, sponges, detergent) were lacking. The spaces were also not properly cleaned before our arrival. The wifi is unreliable and the hosts were very unwelcoming. It is important to know they are charging additional costs for gas and electricity (a significant amount) and that there are many neighbours at the property, living in another part of the same building. With a bit of work, goodwill and effort this could be a great place, but in the current state, it is a bit overpriced.
