Apartment Chamois Blanc 1 - Central Chamonix Haven

Very clean and everything you needed! Quiet, fantastic location!

The location of the apartment is great: At the city center, supermarket and bakery close, bus stop in front. We didn't use car at all in Chamonix. The apartment is cosy, small bathroom and bedroom (just like in the picture), but it is ok. Kitchen very well equipped. The instructions given by the staff before the travel, door code for keys, how to get there, etc, were perfect. Very professional team!!! That makes everything easier.

I like location, close to everything.

The apartment is in the perfect location right in the centre, it is well equipped (note no oven, but we knew this before arrival). The balcony is lovely, you have a partial view of the mountains and look over into a nice green area.

Everything was almost perfect, and we would have loved to come back however we will not because of the awful smell from the kitchen which developed and got worse over the week (presumably it transiently improves after each clean). The smell became unbearable and really took away from the lovely apartment and means we won’t be coming back. There are multiple reviews mentioning the smell, however I didn’t expect it to be quite this bad. We cleaned, used drain cleaner, tried all we could but couldn’t get it to budge. I explained this all in our exit feedback but now it’s 3 weeks on and we never heard anything back which is disappointing. The apartment was also not very clean when we arrived, lots of hair and food on the floor, but just a quick hoover it was sorted so this didn’t bother us too much. Overall, a real shame about the strong smell, as otherwise our review would have been v positive!
