About this house rental
Fully furnished Retreat house set up to accommodate 9 Scrapbooking/Quilters as well as families or small groups looking for a great getaway home! The house is fully furnished with a main floor master bedroom and bath inclusive of a deep soaking tub and separate shower along with 2 lower level bedrooms and separate full bath. Each room is set up with a large bed and set of bunks to accommodate any group. The home has a total of 9 brand new beds (2 queens, 3 fulls and 4 twin) allowing ample space for multiple families and large groups!
For the late fall, winter and early spring season, the home is set up for crafters. The lower level living area is set up with 9 large craft tables for ample work space to accommodate the scrapbookers, quilters, stampers and any other similar hobbies. **PLEASE NOTE, there is a maximum of 9 guests for retreat groups as we are unable to facilitate groups beyond that size. ALSO TO NOTE for groups coming for other reasons during this time frame, the tables will remain set up in the lower living area and cannot be taken down or moved.
The house is close to Rochester for travelers visiting the Mayo Clinic (15.8 miles to downtown). Contact us for different package details if you are coming to the area as a patient as we offer additional services should you plan a stay and prefer a fully furnished home and kitchen instead of a hotel. (Additional options include but are not limited to airport pick-up/drop off, use of private vehicle or arranging of transportation available, arrival with stocked kitchen upon request, etc.)
Property is also located on the water front with access to Lake Zumbro via a short boat ride. Please note that Lake Zumbro is a reservoir and occasionally after heavy rains the lake will have a no wake zone until water recedes. Contact owner to check availability of a Pontoon and/or fishing boat. Lake Zumbro is known for its fantastic fishing of Bass and panfish. Kayaking and Canoeing along the quiet water front is also available at no additional cost.

We had a Bachelorette 'party' there, and it was perfect! The lady of the hour wanted a lowkey weekend, and it was wonderful to have such a space to do crafts, relax, and gab. The river was beautiful, though the current was a bit strong due to the recent storms, so there were quite a few large trees floating around, one was unfortunately blocking the pontoon. But other than that it was lovely to sit around the fire, kayak, and have a nice girls weekend.

I had a weekend trip with my cousins and all our children. We had pre-teen to teens to entertain and the outdoor space and in door space was exactly what we needed! Everyone could easily all be together or had enough space to separate for some quiet time. The deck and patio area are perfect for entertaining fun or a peaceful relaxing time. The use of the kayaks, and games available made it so we didn't have to leave the property to find anything to do. The owners were very prompt and helpful.

I rented this beautiful home to celebrate my brother's 60th birthday. We cooked numerous meals together in the well-appointed kitchen and made excellent use of the beautiful deck, patio, and water toys. Everyone had a great time, and we couldn't have asked for better hosts. The weekend was perfect.
