We named the house True North because the sweeping views from the backyard look directly toward true north—meaning you get all-day sunshine and glowing sunsets over the water, year-round.

We’ve recently completed a full refurbishment designed to make your stay feel both luxurious and easy:

From its elevated headland position, True North looks along the entire sweep of Culburra Beach toward Crookhaven Heads, Seven Mile Beach, and Gerroa Headland. You can spot whales on migration, dolphins, and seals from the deck—often without leaving your seat. It’s also the perfect vantage point to keep an eye on kids or dogs playing on the sand below.

The main bedroom enjoys the same glorious outlook, while the remaining bedrooms are spacious, comfortable, and ideal for families or groups. There are three large bedrooms with built-ins in the main house plus a separate sleep-out with its own powder room—perfect for kids, teens, or extra guests who want their own space.

We take sleep seriously. All beds feature comfortable mattresses, and we provide a full linen service, so bedtime is as inviting as the view.
Kitchen & entertainment
The kitchen is fully equipped for real holiday cooking:

• Coffee machine, fridge, microwave
• Excellent cookware and essentials

We had a fantastic stay at this property and would happily come back again. The house has been newly renovated and everything felt spotless, modern, and fresh. The kitchen, dining, and living areas were incredibly spacious, making it perfect for our group. The kitchen was especially well equipped with a high-tech stovetop, oven, and dishwasher, which made cooking very easy and enjoyable.One of the best parts was the easy beach access straight from the backyard — such a relaxing setting. We also loved having breakfast on the outdoor deck each morning. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were all clean and beautifully renovated. The EV charger was also a huge bonus.The hosts were also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better.The only small downside was that the sleep-out/granny flat wasn’t renovated to the same standard as the main house. However, the main house had more than enough beds for our group of 8, so it didn’t affect our stay at all.Overall, this was a wonderful, relaxing place to stay and we highly recommend it.

We had the most amazing stay at True North. The house was beyond our expectations, the location, the house and its inclusions, everything was perfect and we will definitely be back. Thankyou for a great stay

We stayed for a week but wanted to stay forever. We travelled with family friends and there was plenty of room for the adults as well as the teenagers. I simply cannot fault it. Communication with Jenny was brilliant, nothing was a bother and we even got the chance to check in early.
The perfect holiday.
