The room (and the bad) were a bit too small

La zona del sofá cama, lugar muy chico en la cocina. El trato disimula todo. Fuimos cuatro. Es para 2.

The location was good as it was very close to the city centre and a ferry. The shower was also very good. The decour of the room/studio was quite nice too.

Although the host running the place was trying to be friendly and helpful we found him to be very unprofessional and disorganized. It took us an hour just to check in and park our car. Although, property is advertised as having parking facilities parking is not at the property. There is a small square about 200 meters away up the hill with public parking. If there is a space you can park your car over there. Host did not really speak much English, so it was difficult to communicate with him. Luckily we speak slovak which is similar to croatian and were able to communicate to a certain degree. We came to check in after 4pm and the room was not ready. The decor of the room/studio was nice, but it was not very clean. The bin in the kitchen was not emptied, the floor was dusty, A/C did not work as there were no batteries in the remote, the bed linen was also rather dusty. The property is advertised as having a garden, but you can only share it with the host who lives at the property. We only spent one night at Makarska, so we put up with it. However, had we booked it for more nigths we wouldn't have stayed.
