Summit Apartment - Chamonix

The apartment was as comfortable as our own house. In the kitchen for cooking everything we need was there. Rooms were comfortable and clean. And the location was perfect; 3 minutes walk to Brevent teleferique and 3 minitues walk to center. The apartment was at the ground floor and directly opens to the garden, view was nice.

Glenn, who manages the property is a great host. The apartment is conveniently located in the city center and next to the Brevent lift. It has a private parking (though not used). It is quite large with an eastern view (not on the mont blanc though). It is on the groundfloor with direct access to a private terrace where you can enjoy the rising sun an eat & dine out there.

Being built on a steep hill, the two bedrooms are situated at the rear of the apartment and have NO window. The bunk beds are extremely small and so is the queensize bed in the masterbedroom (I'd rather say mastercaveroom). if you are above 1.8 meter, your feet will certainly go over the wooden bed structure and your ankles will sore badly pretty soon. Almost bedsore! The kitchen although spacious and convenient is poorly equipped (no dishwasher, basic kitchenware and cookingware, no light in the fridge, which opens on the least convenient side by the way). The bathroom is also rather basic. Don't even think of any modern TV system! Obvioulsy, no investment from the owner over the past 20 years except a sloppy white painting job on the sloping walls.
