Le Clos du Gusquel

Tutto perfetto! Già la location è da dieci e lode ma a confermare il giudizio è la cordialità e la competenza della padrona di casa che ci ha accolti calorosamente e aiutati nelle nostre ricerche di viaggio. Ben arredata la con tocchi di design la camera era sufficientemente spaziosa ben insonorizzata e con una vista magnifica. La colazione completa con ottimi prodotti sia dolci che salati e diverse bevande , direttamente con la vista sul giardino per iniziare ancora meglio la giornata!

Une chambre d’hôte exceptionnelle. Christelle est une personne très attentionnée, qui connaît et qui aime sa région. Par ses conseils, elle a guidé notre séjour en fonction de nos sensibilités. L’endroit est splendide, un environnement respectueux de la nature et de la biodiversité, la chambre très spacieuse, la literie très confortable, le petit-déjeuner succulent (produits bio locaux et différents chaque jour) . Le cadre champêtre est paisible, les 4 ou 5 brebis d’origines galloises de la propriétaire font parties du décor. Enfin nous avons profité de la piscine en soirée pour un moment de détente. This was a lovely place to stay while exploring the Gulf of Morbihan. Christelle was a very nice host, who had plenty of suggestions for things to do in the area. Le Clos du Gusquel is architecturally stunning (for UK readers think 'Grand Designs'). The grounds included a beautiful (and quite large) pool which was most welcome at the end of a hot day. The guest rooms and dining area/kitchen/lounge and terrace are in a separate area of the house, which we liked. Our room was very spacious and clean, with a lovely view over the pool and grounds. The area is peaceful and quiet. There is an excellent galette restaurant a short drive away, but on a couple of nights (after a long day) we were also able to prepare something simple in the guest area. Breakfast was excellent and tasty, as other guests have noted. There is so much to do in this region. We enjoyed visiting Vannes - a beautiful city, hiking on Ile-d'Arz, biking around the standing stones in Carnac and visiting some wonderful small towns in the east - Rochefort-en-Terre, La Gacilly and Malestroit. On our way to Le Clos we also visited Pont-Aven, which was arty and beautiful. A wonderful few days!
