Delightful farm with stunning balcony views of the valley and mountains!

The apartment was equipped with everything our family of 4 needed for a relaxing week of watching the sunrise over the mountains, of storms roll up and down the valley, and of stars blanket the sky. It was a bit remote, but there were some hiking trails and a restaurant within walking distance, and the town of Virgen was a quick drive away. It was also easy to access several hikes and cable cars within 20 minutes of driving. Fantastic place, and the hosts were helpful in every way!

A superb week in the East Tyrol!

We spent a superb week at Fewo-Egger-Thalmann. The location is great, few kilometres outside Virgen, in a beautiful natural setting slightly up the mountain slope, providing magnificent views of the valley and mountains from the large balcony! Irene and her husband are great hosts, discrete but still available if you require assistance. They made us feel welcome at all time and even gave us some eggs from their chickens. You can also buy homemade jam, syrup and liquor made by Irene. The East Tyrol is a beautiful region to explore with many impressive trails, lakes, good local food and the highest Austrian summit: The Grossglockner standing at 3,798m above sea level.

Beautiful place, very clean, organize and has everything I need. Outdoor sceneries are amazing.

It’s on top of the mountain and the roads are narrow and winding, but it’s very beautiful.

Perfect stay in a lovely place in Virgental

Lovely and perfect place to stay if you want to be quiet and in contact with the nature. The house is located in a really quiet place, in a farm-countryside region perfect to enjoy nature and calm. The appartment is fully equipped with everything you need for a short and long stay. Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, great balcony with amazing views. Is even better than the pictures show. It was really clean and the owner makes it feeling like at home. Bed is big and confortable. Irene brought us Schnapst bottles! The house is about 5 min by car to the main village Virgen, 15 min to the end of the valley and to Matrei. We had a really good time in the appartment. Thank you very much for the stay! We will come back for sure.

A cozy and clean apartment in a beautiful corner of Virgental valley

Great location if you want peace and quiet, the kitchen is well-equipped, the apartment is very clean, the owner is very kind and helpful. The bed is comfortable, the balcony has a nice view on the mountain and the forest.

Klid, útulné ubytování a kolem neskutečná nádhera!

Naprosto pohádkové místo, dechberoucí výhled z balkonu apartmánu. <3 Apartmán tichý, velmi útulne zařízený s důrazem na detail. Potěšily deky navíc na večerní zachumlání se, překvapila možnost výběru polštářů v hlavní ložnici - buď standarní velikost nebo užší - perfektní! Nadstandardně vybavená kuchyň, velká lednice s mrazákem. V apartmánu dostatek prostoru a velmi čisto. Najdete zde dokonce základní lékarničku a šitíčko. Majitelé milí, vstřícní, přátelští. :) Přijedete-li v zimě, není se čeho obávat - silnice jsou protaženy až k domu. Bude-li možnost, rádi se vrátíme.

Wspaniały pobyt z przepięknym widokiem na Alpy

Wszystko nam się podobało! Świetna lokalizacja na uboczu miejscowości, z przepięknym widokiem na Alpy, możliwością skorzystania ze szlaków obok domu, w tym zwłaszcza na najbliższy 3 tysięcznik - Lasörling. Irene jest przemiłą Gospodynią i pełną cierpliwości dla rozumienia początkującego niemieckiego;) Dzięki Irene! Na miejscu można było skorzystać ze świeżych jaj i doskonałych domowych przetworów Irene - owocowych i alkoholowych (pyszny Eierlikör), a dzieciaki uwielbiały się bawić z Carlosem, jak na moje oko to buldog francuski, nie mops, jak ktoś napisał;)

In posizione tranquillissima, vista amplissima. accesso comodo e facile. la cucina era molto ben fornita e tutto era pulito. L'host Irene mette a disposizione a prezzi promozionali tanti prodotti a km zero: uova, latte, jogurt, marmellate, infusi e liquori. Ne abbiamo approfittato per colazione e spesso per cena.

Wunderbar um 4 Tage das Virgental zu erkunden

Unkomplizierte und gut ausgestattete Fewo, viele Ausflugsziele, ich empfehle ein E Bike... es geht hoch und runter. Auch Parken ist gut, ebenso die Gastgeber

Eigentlich alles gut, wir mochten den Duft der Bettwäsche nicht, war uns zu intensiv - war aber kein Problem wir hatten Schlafsäcke mit.

de vriendelijkheid en het vertrouwen wat je van de Host krijgt. Geen gedoe bij het weggaan, gewoon netjes achterlaten zodat we vroeg weg konden.
