Apartment 8 at 19 Brooklands

A nice, spacious apartment in the centre of Filey. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Nice, spacious and comfortable living room area leading to a small well equipped kitchen. Good sized bedroom and comfortable bed. Small bathroom but big enough and clean. I would consider renting this again and it was a reasonable price.

We were lucky enough to get our car parked on the road right outside the apartment but I imagine that's not always going to happen. So you may need to park a way from the apartment. However this is not a major problem in Filey which is generally quiet and trouble free in my experience. There are a lot of stairs up to this apartment so you need some muscle power to carry up suitcases etc. The shower was good enough but not much power to the water spray. Would have liked some larger bath sheets for getting dried. The corners of the double bed were sharp and the padding placed on one corner had fallen off. Easy to catch your leg on this when walking past.

Perfect position for the town the beach the gardens ,mum & dads bench is just other side of the band stand to. Everything clean & tidy,with lots of extra touches to !.a credit to the owners.

Nothing really all spot on ,if had to mention any thing to be added it would be a small slip mat for the shower ,couldn’t think of anything else

Lovely, cosy apartment that was well-equipped and in a really great location in Filey.

Shower could do with being updated. Mattresses a bit too soft for us as were the pillows but the children slept really well in their bedroom. I think the apartment would benefit from having central heating potentially or better insulation. The children's room felt a bit drafty.
