Möbel uralt,Couch zerrissen, Klimaanlage laut, am Balkon das Splittgerät, war extra heiß und laut,…Küche = Wasserkocher und Toaster mit Tellern und Besteck

Location, views, the balcony and facilities of the hotel itself are fantastic.

Furniture in the room is shocking. The leather sofa is old and ripped in many places. The timber furniture is old, warn and torn, water damaged and sad looking. Doors on the cupboards are sagging. Vacuum cleaner stored in the corner of the room is an interesting feature for an accommodation of this caliber. The bedhead had many months of dust sitting on it. You have to turn off the air conditioning if you want to sit outside the balcony, as hot air blows right to the sitting area, which is not a tragedy, but inconvenient.

Quiet location. As advertised. Nice helpful staff.

Disappointed with the room, view was nice, bed ok and it was clean to a point. Room needs a good clean and furniture update. The timber furniture was damaged, and it felt like you needed to close the drawers and cupboard doors very, very, carefully or they would fall apart. Clearly the tv cabinet had been dropped at some stage as the timber frame was not square and doors would not close properly. The L shaped lounge was too big for the area, and has large pieces of "leather" peeling off in several places that is unsightly. The coffee table is also damaged, it's not new damage, around the top edge exposing treated particle board "timber" that is sharp. I cut my leg twice on the coffee table edge trying to navigate around the tv unit, large coffee table and large lounge in a small space. The coffee table needs to be attended to before someone does more damage to themselves than I experienced. We are aware the hotel is in a tropical area, but there was mould in the shower and around the edges of the floor and walls that could have been easily removed without the cleaner using chemicals if that was a issue. The bathroom also has a drain in the middle of the floor for obvious reasons, and there would often be offensive odors coming from the drain. We also thought it was odd that crockery, cutlery, dish rack, cleaning cloth and detergent were provided but you could only clean the items in the toilet/bathroom. This is a very critical response but I feel justified. After leaving the Peppers Blue on Blue Studio Room we stayed another 4 nights in a apartment in Bright Point, it was a clean two bedroom apartment with amazing views, a full kitchen including a dishwasher, laundry, 2 bathroom, large living space with well appointed furniture in goo d condition and we only paid a extra $200 for the same amount of time. I know where we will be looking for accommodation for our next visit to Magnetic Island.
