About this apartment rental
This is a beautiful two bedroom two bathroom condo on the beach with a over sized pool to take a dip and cool down. Completely walkable neighborhood, which my family really enjoys. Everything you will need is out the front door slip on your sandals and explore. The condo was completely redone Spring 2019 with new furnishings, kitchen and bathrooms. We have 4 beach chairs, 4 beach towels and 4beach blankets , two boogie board’s, a cooler all for your convenience. The kitchen is well appointed.
Large walk in closet so you can unpack and enjoy the space. I have a Keurig coffee/ tea maker for your convenience. K-Cups are hard to find still here on the island. I encourage you to pack a few K cups. Also there is a lot of the color white in the apartment so take good care and try your best to clean as you go and enjoy the vibe I created. **our building has started a 10 million dollar capital improvement project to the campus, so the appearance of the exterior is in pre-planning stages for maintenance work, the work will not interfere with your stay**all amenities are open** no construction has started ** so there will be no issues…. Since hurricane Maria mini power outages are routine now on the island, most people head to the pool /beach and or out on the town. Chili’s next door has a generator so if you need to eat head over . Our building has a generator for public areas not individual units yet ….. so just know ~Puerto Rico is bouncing back🙌🏻 Maria and Covid-19 have been rough on our island ~so enjoy the island ~buy local!! support local!! and just go with the flow when on the island, leave State side expectations in the States and …enjoy the chill island 🏝 vibe 🇵🇷🌴☀️🇵🇷… I love Puerto Rico I’m sure you will too!!! The space is ocean chic, clean, new and comfortable, home was inspired by Coastal Pottery Barn. Home was completely redone in Spring 2019. All bedding is 300 count sheets, comfortable temperature in each room set to your desired temperature. We have a smart 50” TV and high speed internet for streaming movies and shows. In the ceiling we have colored LED lights that change based on your mood with a click of the remote, makes watching movies more comfortable. I have two bar stools at the counter bar which makes it easy for meals and quick clean up so you can enjoy the island. Great space for the older kids to eat. I collect local art so the walls are covered with beautiful pictures and colors. Our building also has a small barista which makes amazing coffee and quesadillas and sandwiches and the best part is the Mojitos to sip on by the pool, Easy and convenient
We are on the main drag called Ashford Avenue in Condado, the main grocery store is a three minute walk and the organic grocery store it’s a five minute walk but what we love about our home is everything is walkable that’s the main goal why we bought here in this building. The beach is well maintained and safe, great for surfing and boogie boarding. The pool is the largest in the neighborhood and the sun at the pool is perfect for tanning. ** go to the main gates and turn right on Ashford Ave and for 10 blocks you have, bars, restaurants, casinos, shops and more ** ~~ we now have a really cool place like NYC ‘s Time Square, it’s a entertainment zone, there is something for everyone there, restaurants, bars , arcade and a movie theater , it’s called “ the T- Mobile District “ ~~ it’s aside of our convention center ~ lots of fun
Absolutely everything is completely convenient you can Uber to Old San Juan for less than $10 and it’s a 10 minute ride. Everything else you possibly could want is walking distance from casinos to restaurants to fashion boutiques to souvenir shops and a local bar two. If you’re interested in biking you can completely bike around the community and take the bike trail to Old San Juan as well. I do have a parking space should you rent a car for your convenience. This is a walkable community which is really nice. I do have covered parking should you rent a car and need to park somewhere I got you covered

We had a very enjoyable stay in Condado. Bob‘s condo is updated and was represented as listed. Bob was great to work with and gave us lots of recommendations and places to go and things to do and see.

We had a very good stay at Sandy Shores. The apartment was well appointed and we had all we needed. The full-size laundry is a big plus. The decor is fun and playful. This apartment is on the 2nd level, parking lot side - not much of a view and a little noisy but that didn't bother us. The beach is wonderful. Despite the warnings that the surf can be a bit rough, it is what we're used to from the New Jersey and New England shores - but the water is so much nicer! We did have a problem with the living room air conditioning during our stay but the owner was very responsive and addressed it as soon as possible. The bedrooms had no problem and strategic placement of provided fans kept the apartment comfortable. The exterior of the building is a little rough and there is ongoing construction to rejuvenate it. However, all the facilities are functional, including the pool which is very nice.
We had some great meals and some great adventures in Puerto Rico. This apartment is a good home base location.

I went down to PR with 2 teenage kids. The place is GREAT, clean cheerfully decorated, and enough space even when my son and daughter needed space from one another. I have eating restrictions so having a fully outfitted kitchen was perfect. The living room area is great with a big tv perfect for cuddling up on the couch and watching a movie at the end of the day.
The host is AMAZING. He is so available both before the stay (while preparing and booking excursions) and during my stay. He was accessible and would respond typically within 1-2 hours (if not sooner). He gave us great recommendations including local restaurants we really enjoyed. Rob made everything so easy, it was such a pleasure.

We had a wonderful time during our trip to Puerto Rico. The location of the condo was excellent, with many restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. We were able to Uber into San Juan easily. There was also a parking spot available for the car we rented, which was a nice bonus! The beaches were lovely, and we also spent several nights swimming in the large pool. We also had a fantastic trip to El Yunque. The condo was a great location for getting out and seeing the island. The host sent us a list of several restaurants and activities to look into during our stay, which was extremely helpful. The condo also had all of the amenities we needed to have a great vacation. We had a fantastic time!
