remote location, tranquillity, only natural noise, one car per day passes by :) still close to Skopelos (15min by car) and 10 minutes to beaches on the other side of the island which were nicer. location on the hill makes it cooler than in the city which is amazing during summer. Very nice host, everything was super clean , old cottage renovation to modern standards

Pyrgos is a beautiful, well renovated country house in the middle of the nature with breathtaking view. We had a great time there, one of the most beautiful places i have ever stayed.
The courtyard is also very beautiful, with a lot of plants, trees, a big barbecue area, two dining areas and one sunbathing area.
You are in the middle of nature, so you can expect some little lizards, ants and other insects to come inside the house sometimes, so if you have a problem with this, it’s not the place for you. You need a car if you are staying at Pyrgos, because it’s 20 minutes away from Skopelos town and 10 minutes to the nearest beach, the road is narrow and twisted so you need some good driver skills and a car with decent amount of power. I really enjoyed to drive around everyday, it was scary at the beginning, but fun and beautiful after i got used to it.
I will always have this place in my heart, i hope to come back someday.
