We had a very pleasant stay at the Villa Oliva. The Villa is located in a quiet neighborhood a ten minute walk to Lake Balaton. Dorian at reception was very friendly and helpful as was all of the staff that we had the privilege to meet. The property management was very good at responding to our inquiries and after a slight mixup with our breakfast they were gracious enough to provide a lovely dinner to compensate.
We had no car, so we had to rely on public transportation that did not run as often as we would have liked. We spent a good amount of time waiting for buses. I would say if you are planning on going to Tihany or getting to the ferry or out to eat you would probably want to arrive by car or at least have a bicycle. There is a nice little market and pizza/burger spot only a short 7 minutes walk away.

Das Badezimmer war dermaßen klein, dass man sich nicht bewegen konnte. Der Inhaber sprach nur ungarisch- das Frühstück war sehr mager bestückt- einen Zimmerservice haben wir in den 3 Tagen nicht gesehen- das Duschgel war schon leer, als wir das Zimmer bezogen haben- eine Befüllung gab es während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht- keine Liegen oder Stühle am Pool
