Sahara Sands Hotel

The stay was great, the room is huge and bed comfortable. Just next to the dunes for a walk on the evening. Close to city center for food and markets. Breakfast was good. And you can go for free to a close hotel (by car) to use their swimming pool.

Could be hot and there's no AC. But my stay was ok. Just consider it.

A cosy stay which is authentic in the best ways. We stayed before and after our desert tour, it was the best way to unwind relaxing with in the courtyard overlooked by the dunes. When staying here it feels more like a homestay with the warm and accommodating welcome of Youssef and his cats. The stay is a small walk to the shops + restaurants a slightly longer one to the bus stop, but is by no means tedious and I found the walk through the sleepy village more relaxing. This is definitely worth a stop purely for the experience and to unwind.

Bedroom was very warm at night - however this is literally a desert so is expected and minor issue.
