La Douce Dordogne

We arrived in the middle of a storm very late. The hosts were amazing & waited for us to arrive & looked after us & went above & beyond to make us comfortable.

The property was immaculate. Modern and everything was accessible. Beautiful scenery, especially from the pool. The location as just perfect for a peaceful getaway. Breakfast was simple but lovely, with enough options. On arrival Marielle gave us a lovely intro to the property with a map and leaflets with suggestions on where we could visit during our stay. We were in France for a wedding and Edwin and Marielle were great support in finding us a taxi driver so we could relax for the evening, especially with the language barrier.

Nothing really. The only thing I would say is to make sure you rent a car to get from A to B! The property is in a great location for a peaceful break and there are so many lovely places to see but would be quite costly to take a taxi.

It is an idyllic spot, so calm and quiet. Marielle and Edwin are excellent hosts. Rooms are great, well appointed with good AC when it’s hot.

Les propriétaires sont absolument adorables et d’une organisation irréprochable. La chambre était impeccable, avec un lit d’un confort exceptionnel et une salle de bain parfaitement propre. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux et généreux. La piscine, chauffée à la température idéale, est un vrai bonheur, et le frigo avec boissons à prix très raisonnables est une super attention. En résumé : sans aucun doute l’un des meilleurs Bed & Breakfast que nous ayons eu la chance de découvrir !
