Most pleasant experience, I wish we could stay longer.

We had a great time at the apartment. The hosts were really awesome, friendly, and hospitable. We got the support we needed to enjoy our stay right from the day we arrived. The apartment was conducive, especially for us with a toddler. As a first timer in Croatia, I couldn't have asked for more. Shoutout to these great guys!

Beautiful view. Close to bakery, groceries, and coffee shop. Great evening meals at restaurants along the waterfront. Close proximity to bus for trips to Dubrovnik. Cupboard full of condiments for cooking.

Third time, different apartment

This was my 3rd stay at "Knego Apartments". I accidently booked a different apartment, which has a private little garden and terrace accessible theough a door behind the house. So, guests can sit in front of the apartment to eat and relax in addition to the fantastic balcony with sea view. The bed is very comfy and you see the ocean through the balcony door. If you are lucky enough, you have a beautiful view of the full moon reflecting on the ocean. That's a dream! The apartment has a quite small bathroom with a shower, washing machine, many towels in all sizes and some toiletries. The third room is a kitchen with fridge, oven and stove and a table for 2. It also has a second table and 2 seats to watch tv in the evening. The bedroom and the kitchen have big closets offer a lot of space. The kitchen is well equiped with everything you need. A bonus is the little grocety market just a few minutes down the street. The beaches and restaurants at the ocean are just a 10 min walk away. The Knego family are the best hosts and they always take good care of their guests and make them feel wrlcome & at home!

Perfect Stay

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was very clean, had a great view, and was just a short walk from the beach. Groceries were conveniently nearby, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

It was a lovely break, weather was a bit mixed so I’d recommend a jacket !

We were greeted on arrival and shown to our room. This had everything you could need for your stay. It is a large apartment and was spotlessly clean. There were plenty of extra towels and even beach towels to use if needed. The bed was comfortable, Kitchen is very well supplied and the view from the balcony is really lovely. There are 2 small supermarkets within a couple of minutes walk and their fresh bread/pastries are great. Our host Vinko and his family were extremely helpful, giving us lots of advice and offering help at any time if needed. Mlini itself is a very pretty place and a steady 15/20 min walk downhill to the harbour area or Srebreno a 10/15 min walk to the other side of the bay. After reading other reviews we decided to get an Uber taxi from the airport but could not get any signal so had to use a regular taxi. This was 32 euros, got an Uber on the way back and this was 14 euros !!. Would definitely recommend staying at Knego !

There was nothing to dislike !! The only thing i would say is that the area itself is quite steep and there are steps up to the apartment. This wasn’t an issue for us but maybe something to bear in mind.

The hosts were welcoming and friendly and the location was superb! The hosts were helpful with information for getting into the Old Town and gave local recommendations for food which was appreciated. The apartment was comfortable and had many amenities, as well as a beautiful view from the balcony, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Great flat for exploring Dubrovnik area

Vinko and Ines were warm and welcoming hosts and were on hand with advice and recommendations to make the most of our stay. The flat was spotless and is in an elevated position, so has a wonderful view over the bay. There are lots of steps down to the beaches, so you need to be quite fit! The flat is a few minutes walk from a lovely bakery and a small supermarket. We visited Cavtat and Dubrovnik by Uber, which was very reasonable for 4 of us, but there are also frequent buses and water taxis.

There is one A/C unit in the living area. It's just outside the bedroom doors, so we kept the doors open at night to feel the benefit (it was exceptionally hot during our stay). There is some traffic noise from the nearby main road, but the view makes up for it.

Venko was so helpful and nice person. He shared all the information needed for boats and buses time and offered help to organize and reserve trips either to islands or Bosnia. I recommend and will be my first choice when I visit Dubrovnik again.

Perfect stay in Knego apartment.

There was a perfect view from the apartment. Also there was everything you need for preparing food (pepper, salt, sugar, coffee) As Croatia is a sunny place you can find suncream or after sun treatment in your bathroom. When you decide to go to the beach there is a towel in your apartment that you can take with you to lie on.

There’s nothing you wouldn’t like in this apartment. the host is VERY welcoming, spent a good 5min talking to us about the area, showing us where to go to grab a bite, bus routes, beaches, everything. The apartment was in neat condition, with a great view. And last but not least, as we were about to leave, the host gave us a bag of grapes right from the house vine… 5 star-stay!!!

Overall a flawless property, we will be back!

I couldn’t recommend this property highly enough. It was amazing from start to finish. we requested the transfer from the airport through the property, it was a short drive,very comfortable and at a great price. Vinko made us feel welcome immediately, he offered us loads of information on buses, ferries, taxis, food delivery options and so much more. He sent a WhatsApp of the timetables for ferries and buses to Dubrovnik and Cavtat, which was handy to have.The room was also equipped with lots of brochures. Vinko also booked us the 3 Islands tour, which was very helpful. The location is what made the holiday so special. 10 minutes walk from mlini old town, which is so beautiful with its old architecture and stunning beaches. There’s loads of cafes and restaurants to have morning coffees or evening meals with an amazing view. A three minute walk from the small local shop which had all The essentials. 10 minutes away by foot, there is also a big shopping centre with a grocery store, pharmacy…etc. You definitely don’t need a car. Dubrovnik is reachable by ferry or taxi. the ferry is an enjoyable trip for a small price. brings you right into mlini old town , probably a 15 minute walk back(due to the upward steps). We used Uber to get home in the evening, which was very handy and not too expensive, around 13€. it’s definitely the best base to visit Dubrovnik, out of the way of the busy city, but still able to day trip over at ease. we didn’t visit cavtat, however it is just as easy to day trip there. The facilities were perfect, amazing bed , shower and air conditioning .Balcony was ideal , equipped with sun loungers and table and chairs. Stunning View. Vinko was only a text away during our entire trip, he was so helpful. On our last day our flight wasn’t until 7, Vinko let us leave our bags in our apartment all day and even gave us a chance to freshen up before The airport when we arrived back in the evening, which we were extremely grateful for!

The village of mlini was so enjoyable as it was nice and quiet when we went with barely any tourists, however there are a few big hotels in the area so I suspect it might get busier into the summer months.

We had a fabulous holiday in Mlini at Apartments Knego. Our hosts Vinko and Ines made us feel very welcome and were so helpful with lots of information about local bus and boat services, restaurants and places to visit. The location is perfect with its own local beaches, shops, restaurants and bars and only a short distance into the beautiful city of Dubrovnik which you can reach by bus or boat. The view over Mlini harbour from the apartment balcony was amazing and a lovely place to enjoy a drink before heading out for the evening. Highly recommended.

Price-worthy and very good service, comfy beds

Very pleasant stay. The host Vinko speaks good English and was doing his outmost for making the stay being comfortable, with lots of good advice of what to do and see. Always showing a warm genuine hospitality second to none but also balanced – if you want your privacy or company the hosts listens and is responsive to requests, always service-minded and ready to help. But at the same time not intrusive if you want to be at peace and take care of yourself. The hosts are living in same building but you never got the feeling you are invading somebody’s home. It felt like the hosts were there if you needed help with something when you wanted it - top service always nearby. The apartment was very clean and fresh and modern, only three years old. The kitchen was well equipped with all necessary items for cooking your own food or catering from a restaurant. Small practical things like salt, spices, sugar etc. was already there, no need to buy. Big fridge and freezer – not the small camping size of fridge. My apartment did not have an oven but a microwave, but all the other 2 apartments have ovens in their kitchens and I’m sure if you want to have something heated in an oven, the landlord will fix it for you. Since I’m particular picky with beds and standards for sleeping, this apartment was truly nice surprise. They have invested in a modern comfy bed mattress. All rooms are equipped with AC. Since I was there during the cold winter season the AC could be used as heating up the apartment quickly – a great relief. The apartment is near a local road but the windows and walls well isolated and soundproofed, so you hardly hear any traffic – slept like a baby. All apartments are towards the bay view front and has nice terrace for enjoying the fantastic dawn and sunset over the Adriatic Sea. You get your own garage with remote control. Then everything in Mlini is on walking distance from Knego.

Great apartment with great location and great hosts! The apartment is new, clean, with AC, WiFi, smart TV, kitchen and everything you need. Balcony has perfect view. 1 minute by walk from there is bakery store and bus stop. Beach is 5 minutes by walk, actually there are more than 4 beaches in circle of 10 minutes by walk. Car is in garage. You have total privacy in your apartment. Vinko & Ines are really pleasant and helpful hosts. They truly care about your comfort and they try to make everything perfect for you. They give you lot of local tips and advices how to make your vacation even better. Moreover, Vinko’s grilled fish was awesome :) I totally recommend this apartment for everyone.

We had an awesome week in the Apartment. Ines & Vinko are great hosts and the location is perfect to go to a different beach every day in the Dubrovnik area. The closest beach is just 5-10 minutes away, with restaurants and bars around. Dubrovnik is also just around the corner and can be easily accessed by bus or boat. We had a fantastic view from the balcony where you can have a drink or two and see the sunset! :) We had absolutly everything we needed! We had a great holidays - if we have the chance we will definitely come back and would recommend to stay at Apartment Knego!

We loved absolutely everything about this apartment, namely: - location - about 7 minutes down the hill to various Mlini beaches (pebbly, rocky, etc.); - we rented one bedroom apartment for two people and it has the most amazing terrace with magnificent sea view! The first thing you see when wake up is this breathtaking view, perfect spot for your morning coffee or dinner - this was amazing to have our dinners watching moonlight reflected in the night sea; - the apartment itself - very modern, cozy, tastefully decorated, it has everything any person may need during the stay; - very well equipped kitchen - combined electric/gas cooker with oven, and there are Ikea stainless steal pots (which was highly important for me, since I don't use carcinogenic Teflon coated pots and pans); - shopping mall with Konzum quite big food supermarket and DM drugstore (if you need any organic/bio skincare and food it can be found there) - just 7-10 minutes away from the apartment; - and of course Ines and Vinko are the best people and hosts I've ever met during my travels - they are the nicest and can help literally with anything - from suggesting a good restaurant/cafe to getting an airport transfer; - light beach umbrellas and goggles are also available to borrow at the property. Also, there is no need to take thick beach towels with you - the hosts provide towels to use on a beach, so it also saved a lot of space in my suitcase :)

Great stay in a beautiful place!

Knego apartments is a great place, hosts Inez and Vinko are amazing, very helpful, opened people! It is not very easy to meet so extraordinary hosts! They are a show case of this place! We spent very long time on a cross board during the journey and we arrived very late and it was any problem with checking in. The apartment is very comfortable and it has everything what you need . It has beautiful view from the balcony . The bed is fantastic and air conditioner in a bedroom is very quiet because it has a sleep mode which is very useful at the night. Close to the apartment you can find a bakery and quite big shop center. Not long distance from few beaches. We recommend it !

Alles was top!

Super vriendelijk ontvangen geweest door de gastheer, hij geeft enorm veel uitleg over alles wat er te doen is in en rond Dubrovnik. Het appartement is heel mooi, comfortabel, alles is er aanwezig en er is een heel mooi uitzicht op de zee. Op minder dan 5 minuten wandelen van het verblijf is er een bakker waar we iedere ochtend ons ontbijt gingen halen, lekker en niet duur. Wij hadden een auto gehuurd, je kunt privé parkeren voor de deur of in de garage bij het appartement. Als we nog eens naar het mooie Dubrovnik komen zullen we zeker en vast terug hier verblijven, een echte aanrader! 🙂

Appartement om weer eens naar terug te gaan.

De gastheer, die goed engels sprak, was heel erg behulpzaam met tips over de omgeving. We voelden ons snel thuis. Handdoeken waren in grote getallen aanwezig, die kun je dus thuis laten. Erg handig de wasmachine en het restaurant naast de deur. Bakker en minimarkt bijna om de hoek. Airco hield de woonkamer goed koel.

We zaten in het bovenste appartement met schuine daken en balken waar je je hoofd wel eerst een paar keer tegen moest stoten voordat je er aan gewend was. In slaapkamers geen airco, maar met slaapkamerdeuren open was het prima te doen. Veel traptreden tussen zee/restaurants en appartement, dus voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn is het niet aan te raden. Wij zullen er echter zeker weer eens terugkomen.

Wunderschöner Urlaub in Mlini

Wir waren insgesamt 2 Wochen bei Fam.Knego und haben noch nie so freundliche, aufmerksame und nette Vermieter gehabt!! Wir sind herzlich empfangen worden, ich habe zu meinem Geburtstag Blumen dalmatinische Köstlichkeiten und Wein bekommen....wir sind um 22 Uhr von Vinko vom Hafen in Dubrovnik angeholt worden nach einem Ausflug etc. etc. So aufmerksam und herzlich!! Eine sehr gemütliche Wohnung, sauberst alles da was man braucht und noch mehr! Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub, nicht weit zum Strand und zu Geschäften, herrliche Aussicht über die Bucht.....wir kommen definitiv wieder und bleiben nächstes Mal länger hier. Danke an Vinko und Ines für die schönen Tage!!!
