B&B La Vela Chia

It is a gem! Family home with a separate annex with two separate ensuite bedrooms for b&b guests. Separate private entrance, secure off street parking, super clean and silent, comfy bed and spotless bathroom. A lovely home away from home with Donatella (the host) welcoming guests with warmth and love. Great breakfast with fruits, yogurt, toasts etc and nice restaurants nearby. Highly reccomended to go to Alessia madeddu’s “sabor’ e mari” in Teulada — first of all the drive at sunset to get there is amazing!!!! Secondly the food is special and the wine list highly worth the trip. Near the b&b you can find all the most beautiful beaches but also a fantastic sailing club run for children with lots of love by Edoardo Cavallo but also accessible to anyone wanting to go for a spin with a topaz or a laser. It is one of those organisations to support and endorse as it helps so many people in need. Finally: the house is perfect for a long stay…I only could stay two days and in this time I saw Cagliari, all beaches from pula to chia, the amazing coast to teulada and I went sailing each day: it was a rush…I would stay a week at least. Super fun!

Nothing! This place is honestly a million times better than ALL hotels on the coast, including aquadulcis or Conrad / Hilton or radisson or is molas. All the hotels are run by seasonal staff, opened for the season and are as you might imagine: look good, are not good. This house instead is lived all year. By locals, who love every detail. It is just perfect!

The landlords are friendly, the little room was clean and the location not far from a beautiful beach and also within walking distance to a very good restaurant is definitely a plus.

A big minus is the very limited breakfast that only includes sweet stuff. No eggs, no ham, cheese, cereals, fruits or anything salty - but lots of sweet and unhealthy things. A checkout before 10am also didn’t felt that comforting and over that the walls to the other rooms are so thin that you hear every single word/noise from there. All together we found it a bit overpriced.
