The modern Falcon Lodge is a cosy house with lots of natural light. It is situated in the famous town Kaprun with a lot of space inside and a magnificent view of the majestic mountains and the Kitzsteinhorn glacier. Just so there isn’t a scramble for the bathroom in the morning with ensuing logjam, the holiday home boasts two modern bathrooms – the smaller bathroom is equipped with a shower, washbasin and toilet, and the second and larger bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and shower as well as a double washbasin and toilet. In the kitchen, would-be chefs will be delighted with the excellent equipment which will allow them to create their signature dishes for all to share. Eating together at the large table with a view of the garden will be one of those wonderful experiences that will stay in your memory for a long time after.

The patio with its seating is covered. From the garden, you have a wonderful view of the mountain panorama. There are several parking spaces available and there is a children’s playground nearby. The ski bus stop is only 150 m away (not far, is it?). The ski bus will whisk you away to the Maiskogel resort and the ultra-modern 3-K K-onnection cable car in winter which links directly to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier.

Kaprun is wonderfully situated between Lake Zell and the Kitzsteinhorn. Want to get moving and active? Well, many bike trails and hiking paths are waiting for you to discover. Fancy cruising or flying down the slopes? Skiing is possible from autumn to early summer. The Kitzsteinhorn Glacier is known for its guarantee of snow. For connoisseurs of good food, après ski and socialising, Kaprun offers a varied range of cuisines, entertainment and activities.



Free time:

You can reach the Kitzsteinhorn in summer and winter with the Glacial Aerial Tramway Kaprun. The ski area is located at over 3,000 m above sea level and is the epitome of absolute fun and enjoyment on the slopes – it really doesn’t get any better than this on skis. If you have the urge to go tobogganing with the whole family, the “Maiskogel” family mountain with the “Maisi Flitzer” all-season alpine coaster is highly recommended!



The famous and absolutely stunning Sigmund Thun Gorge is located in the Kaprun area. This marvel of nature is 320 m long and 32 m deep. In summer, hikes through the gorge are possible and, in the evening, it is often beautifully illuminated – a sight to behold. Fans of mountain biking – beginners and pros alike – can work up a sweat as they power along trails with a combined distance of 242 km. This includes four exciting freeriding trails in and around Kaprun. Not forgetting the famous Krimml Waterfalls.
