Cozy Stonehouse is located in the village of Rokka, 7 km from Kissamos and 15 km from the port of Kasteli. It is 74sqm fully equipped with free wi-fi, free private parking and easy access.
The bathroom has a washing machine. Free toiletries are provided. It also has a fully equipped kitchen, a flat-screen TV and air conditioning. On the large veranda you can enjoy the magnificent view.
The accommodation is 53 km from Chania International Airport and 177 km from Heraklion Airport "Nikos Kazantzakis". The beautiful Old Town of Chania is 38 km away. During your stay, do not miss to visit some of the best beaches of Crete, such as Falasarna, Elafonissi and the famous beach of Balos.
Rocka is one of the most picturesque semi-mountainous villages in the municipality of Kissamos. It is built amphitheatrically on a hill, Troulis, where remains of a Byzantine fortress are preserved. Visitors have the opportunity to tour the paved alleys of the village, admire the stone-built houses, the archaeological finds and enjoy a rare natural beauty by climbing up the hill and hiking in the Rocka Gorge.
In recent years, many events are also known as "Rokka Festivals" culminating in the August full moon. Impressive is the attendance of visitors from all over Greece and abroad that grow every year.

Das Cozy Stonehouse ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Wer Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit anstelle von Trubel sucht, wird sich hier wohlfühlen. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Sitzplatz vor dem Haus lädt zum Verweilen ein; er ist gegen Westen ausgerichtet und man kann dort die Sonnenuntergänge bei einem Glas Wein geniessen. Mehrere Wanderungen sind direkt vom Haus aus möglich, so kann man das Auto auch mal stehen lassen. Aber ein Auto ist trotzdem unbedingt erforderlich.
Im Dorf Rokka selber gibt es leider keine Taverne, aber z.B. das Maracaibo Restaurant in Koleni ist in knapp 10 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen und ist sehr zu empfehlen. Bis nach Kissamos mit einer grossen Auswahl an Tavernen sind es ca. 15-20 Minuten.
Chrysa ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin. Wir wurden von ihr sehr nett begrüsst mit vielen Welcome-Goodies (u.a. frische Eier und eigenen Raki). Während unseres Aufenthalts hat sie sich immer wieder erkundigt, ob alles in Ordnung ist, und uns wieder mit frischen Früchten und Eiern versorgt.
Wir kommen gerne wieder zurück!

Alles wie beschrieben. Urlaub abseits vom Trubel. Recht einfach aber schön! Sehr nette Gastgeber. Schlucht um die Ecke toll aber nicht ganz leicht zu durchqueren (Taverne am Ende - TOP). Strände in der "Nähe" super.

La maison est située à Rokka, joli village crétois au milieu des oliviers sur les hauteurs de Kissamos, idéal pour visiter Balos, Felassarna, Elafonisi et Paleochara. Accueil chaleureux par les parents de Chrysa, adorables et attentionnés. Merci à eux
