Appartamento Ortensia in Villa Mariella

Die Lage ist relativ nahe zur Innenstadt von Ostuni, allerdings liegt die Unterkunft an einer viel befahrenen Straße ohne Gehweg und es ist sehr gefährlich zu Fuß zu gehen.

Durch die Lage an einer Hauptstraße ist es sehr laut, leider auch am Pool. Die Unterkunft ist überhaupt sehr hellhörig, man hört alles.....von den Nachbaren....

Great conctact with the hosts via Whatsapp. The host did quickly come and show us the apartment. The apartment is like new, everything is very fresh and clean. It is very well equipped incl the kitchen, tv, wifi, washing machine, a/c (we did not need a/c although it was above 30 degrees outside, as it is shadowed and well isolated) Thank you for hosting us

While the apartment looks like on the pictures, the quality of our stay was far from what we hoped: 1. Wall-isolation is poor to none-existant. In the apartment nextdoor was a family with childrent who and it was absolutely impossible to sleep any minute due to the terrible isolation 2. The Wifi wasn’t working at all and inside there was no signal whatsoever 3. In a more high-end apartment, one would expect basic elements and equipment to be present. In the kitchen, neither salt, pepper, dish-soap where available. Toilet paper wasn’t enough for the stay. 4. At check-in we were asked if we wanted some towels. Not thinking of anything (given the price per night) they charged us (via Whatsapp) a absolutely unrealistic price at the end for washing fee and tourist tax (both never mentioned before) 5. A minor remark was that in a more “luxurious” place, I wasn’t expected to be asked to clean the place and empty all trash bins. Particularly you are traveling without a car and the next trash depot is a 7min taxi drive. From the many stays over the last year, the Booking rating in my view is absolutely not in line with the quality and price.
