Cyrenia Guesthouse

Situated in the new city of Gefira, just in front of the old city center, the hotel is a good place for a short stay. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Shower had very little pressure but it was enough for 1 night stay, no biggie.

Loved the location. Was an easy walk across the causeway. Hospitality was fantastic and breakfast was amazing! Fresh spanakopita baking in the morning!

We liked the location and the rooms. the breakfast was also fine. Very good place for your walk to the old city. It takes 20-30 minutes walking to the old city. The rooms were very clean. We had good communication with the host before arriving with helpful guidance.

The location, bed, and parking were very good and staff members were friendly and helpful on advice on where to go during the visit.

The breakfast was seriously disappointing and not value for money or time. Breakfast is usually a way to save time. The maintenance in the place was lacking. (1) One window could be easily forced open and the mosquito netting would not fasten and blinds would not lower. (2) One air conditioner did not work and (3) the other air conditioner had the cable dangling from the wall. (4) The place was advertised with a microwave but had an old stove top and and small oven combination. (4) Being charged for water when the water was unsuitable for drinking.
