About this house rental
A 1961 mid century modern architectural gem on the border of the Joshua Tree National Park. Access to friendly hills hiking trails from the backyard! This bright and lofty multi-level home is perfect for escape getaways- with an indoor fireplace, backyard gas grill, a kidney shaped pool, a mountain view hot tub and an infrared sauna. Three bedrooms and bathrooms.
The covered backyard patio gives you so much extra outdoor space, it's a really nice area to cozy up and read a book or relax outside without being directly in the sun. The paved areas really are unique and maximize your ability to enjoy the exterior.
Very nice neighborhood, minutes from Joshua Tree Village and Yucca Valley. There is also a nice playground in walking distance to the house.
local ordinance requires all cars at all short term rentals must park in the driveway. failure to do this can result in a fine up to ten thousand dollars.

The property was beautiful, immaculate and well-appointed. Loved the interior design and the architecture. We especially enjoyed taking in the sunset against majestic rocks while sitting on the expansive patio. Very private, secluded and steps from a hiking trail. Also very close to the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. Our hostess was very quick to respond to any questions we had and accommodating as well. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay.

The location of this home is perfect. We could walk out of the back gate to get to a short (two-mile) trail that is lovely for a morning walk. We were only about a ten-minute drive to the trailheads at Joshua Tree where we spent two great days hiking.
It was the home that disappointed us. The condition and cleanliness made our time there difficult. Given we were only there a few days, we just made the best of it.
The hot tub in the backyard is in a great place in the yard. We used that after the sunset and the sky was beautiful. You also back up to such a great view. Easy check-in/check-out process and when we messaged the owner, they were so quick to respond.
