Just had an amazing stay here! Staff were so friendly and accommodating, the rooms were really clean and spacious and the Spa treatment was amazing! Everybody was so helpful and the reception team were amazing at helping organise trips with TukTuks in to Sigiriya and to both the Lion rock and Pidurangala rock. Would highly recommend and will be staying when we come back!

The room was a good size and was really clean, the buffet for both breakfast and dinner had many great choices. The pool was a bonus and a nice way to relax at the end of the day.

I liked the layout and the location wasn’t too bad

The photos used on Booking.com are obviously old. The property is tired and a bit shabby. The door to our room had a crack down the centre of it, as did our bathroom door as well. Bathroom windows were shutters that were also old and starting to split. There was no flyscreen on any of the windows and sliding doors to the balcony, enabling mosquitos in if you wanted fresh air. There were no bed nets. The shower leaked out onto the bathroom floor - we had to lay down bath towels to soak up the excess water. The pool was okay. Not a huge area for loungers. Towels were accessible from a broken wardrobe next to a drinks bar. The ground near the bar and to access the pool from that area was uneven and sort of paved with broken pavers and no real lighting. There were three path lights there but one was broken and not working. This was an accident waiting to happen - which it did. An elderly man was returning his towel and he tripped and fell in the dark, splitting open his head and getting cuts etc on his hands and legs. He was taken to hospital and received stitches. They have sort of dug out steps leading up to the pool area on a slope and again, there are no real steps or pavers making it dangerous. Overall, it’s shabby and needs a full overhaul.
