We stayed at this apartment last year and were very pleased to return. The apartment is as pictured, well-equipped and very comfortable. The location is great - a block from the river and 2 blocks from the supermarket. One Choice stay were responsive to any inquiries and booking and check-in were very easy. The only downside this year was the construction in the street. But this is temporary. We would definitely book this apartment again.

The apartment was excellent. The photos are accurate. The apartment takes up the entire ground floor of a 3 story building. The street is narrow but does allow cars. The apartment is well appointed with a dishwasher, laundry, coffee maker and everything you could want in a kitchen. The bathroom is large and the hot water plentiful. The apartment was spotless and dealing with My Choice which operates it was efficient.
The location is also excellent. It is two blocks from the river and a 5 minute walk across the bridge to the central park. We could not have asked for a better location. A couple of blocks away is a large supermarket while in all directions are restaurants.
I would highly recommend this apartment.

Authentic area of Tavira where locals still live and work, across the river from most historic sites. Many good restaurants, some predictable street noise during day.

Our stay started with some confusion about the location. Be sure you get the specific address without abbreviations.
The suite itself is spacious and beautiful. The ad is clear that it's at street level, but there are bars on all the windows and the kitchen shutter is permanently closed for 'security' purposes. (maybe why the curtains are closed in all the photos) It certainly made us feel confined in the space.
The suite is bordered by 3 streets which are fairly busy, and the soundproofing is poor so there is a lot of traffic noise and loud conversation well into the night.
Location is within easy walking distance of the river, town centre and a great grocery store, with most of the touristy areas across the river.
We have a simple rating system on accommodations - would we stay again or not- and for us, definitely not.
