A beautiful renovated farmhouse for those looking for quiet and relaxing holidays in harmony with nature.
The Apatouria Farmhouse is located on a very quiet and lush area on the eastern side of Andros, called Apatouria. Built in the trees, overlooking the green mountains, next to the river Pithara and between the villages of Apikia and Stenies.
Two lovely and picturesque villages of great natural beauty.
Right in front of the Farmhouse you can find the hiking route number 8, which will lead you through nature, springs, rivers and old mansions to Gialia beach and its crystal blue waters.
It is only 5 km away from the island's capital, Chora, and 35 km away from the port of Andros, Gavrio. The last 100 meters of the journey to the Farmhouse are through a dirt road, accessible with a normal car. Just a few minutes away from the village of Apikia, famous for the Pithara waterfalls and the spring of Sariza, known for its waters with wondrous healing properties. You can also visit by foot, the village of the “shipping magnates”, Stenies, for a stroll between the old, neoclassical mansions and its green alleyways.
The Farmhouse has large indoor and outdoor living spaces and is consisted of 2 bedrooms, 1 large living room, kitchen, 1 bathroom with a shower, an outdoor sitting area and a large beautiful garden. It can accommodate up to 4 guests and is pet friendly.
It also features a parking space, Wi-Fi, TV, electric fans and a fully equipped kitchen with all electrical appliances and cooking utensils.
Minas, the owner of the Farmhouse, lives in a separate apartment on the upper floor along with his 3 adorable little dogs. He will make you feel like home and will offer you an authentic hospitality experience.
The secluded and quiet location, the view, the modern living spaces and amenities of the Farmhouse, create a unique experience of relaxing summer holidays, away from the rhythms of everyday life and in harmony with the breathtaking nature of Andros.

Our host, Minas, was very friendly and welcoming. He is a very good cook and cooked us some wonderful meals. He also showed us around the local Monastery, Panachradou and a beautiful farm owned by a relation.The house is full of character with all necessary amenities including a horse!

Si vous cherchez l'agitation ou un appartement impersonnel, cet endroit n'est pas fait pour vous.
Chez Minas vous trouverez un accueil sincère et un sens du service hors norme (il a sauvé nos vacances alors que l'agence de location de voiture nous avait "planté" ). Il vous faudra une voiture, mais parfois Minas vous apportera du pain ... .Si vous aimez cuisiner, la cuisine est équipé pour vos soirée "top chef" , Minas est un sérieux concurrent !
La maison est située sur un des sentiers balisés d'Andros.

Cher Minas, merci de nous avoir donner l'occasion de nous sentir chez nous à Andros, dans votre belle maison. Vous nous avez reçu à la manière si généreuse, ce n'est pas par hasard que dans la bibliothèque, la seule dans la ville, nous avons trouvé un livre de Georges Seféris, prix noble de literature 1963, où il dit que 'le peuple grecque est généreux, aimant autrui et empreint de sentiment de justice'. En espérant que nous reviendrons encore plus enthousiaste pour découvrir à nouveau Andros et ton havre de paix.

Nous avons passé un moment agréable dans ce grand appartement situé au rez-de-chaussé de la maison de M. Minas, le propriétaire. La situation est parfaite pour les amateurs de calme (en cul de sac d'une route de terre) et pour les randonneurs car ils peuvent emprunter le sentier 8 qui chemine en contrebas de la propriété. M. Minas est un homme discret, au petit soin pour ses hôtes. Ses chiens, une fois habitués à vous, viendront vous rendre visite lorsque vous profiterez du jardin en cours d'aménagement. L'appartement est grand et bien équipé pour cuisiner. Le seul petit bémol est la présence de moustiques la nuit....une moustiquaire autour des lits serait bienvenu.
