Great location in the heart of the old town yet the street was nice and quiet at night. Very little noise from neighbours. Easy access to restaurants and bars. ATM around the corner. Apartment itself is roomy and clean. Kitchen is well stocked with appliances. Lift is useful for luggage. Lack of air conditioning wasn’t an issue for us and the apartment has fans.
Twin beds were a bit hard for my liking and the pillows a bit small. The instructions folder is only in Portuguese - unusual not to have translations. The rug in the living room needs a good clean or replacing.

Close to the town square and a relatively good value. The fan in the bedroom helped with the heat a little bit. Kitchen had a nice size refrigerator and working freezer. Washing machine was helpful to have. Large TV. Close to great fish and chips restaurant!
I hope they will install air conditioning because it was difficult to sleep because of the heat. Keeping the windows open meant excessive noise all times of the night from garbage trucks and seagulls. Beach towels would have been a nice addition. The lower floor of the building had a terrible odor.
