A charming historic wooden house with a truly unique atmosphere. The location was perfect - being close to Gamle Stavanger and the Vågen harbor meant that everything was within walking distance. The apartment is very spacious and really allows you to experience the authentic charm of the old town. A wonderful place with character that beautifully combines comfort with the spirit of history.
While the historic character is definitely part of its charm, the property would benefit from some renovation and refreshing, as many elements already show visible signs of wear. During the day, the view of the harbor is blocked by large cruise ships docked nearby.

The location was great for enjoying the centre of Stavanger.
2 very small bedrooms, neither of which had any heating at all, one had no electric sockets, nor anywhere to store clothes. Apart from a bathroom mirror there was no other mirror in the property. Any sockets there were were either at ankle height or ceiling height. The road outside was quite noisey, as was the music up to 2am from the bars, clubs across the harbour. If you are young and want a couple of days enjoying the Stavanger nightlife then it's perfect.
