We liked the family history and eclectic style. The location was in walking distance from all the things we wanted to do and from the train station. Breakfast was great!

This is a great place, beautiful mix of history and contemporary. A perfect location for getting to everything! Martin & Roberta were brilliant, so accomodating with terrific suggestions. I would highly recommend this property.

location, decor, amenities, a nice breakfast. very congenial host/manager, eager to assist w/reservations.
there is no person on-site full time to assist guests when the unexpected happens. We were locked out of our room due to magnetic key entry failure for 3-4 hrs at night, plus stuck in the elevator for 15 min. the following day before we forced the door open! Both unusual, first time occurrences in many decades of international travel.
