This is more than a hotel. It's a hotel in a museum or a museum in a hotel. Absolutely wonderful experience. Beautiful garden, corridors filled with historical exhibits - don't miss the art work showing an angel breast-feeding babies! Very nice staff. Restaurant with A/C is a rarity in the city. TV screen showing world cup matches. It was wonderful.
Room A/C made a bit unpleasant noises and leaked water.

The room was a great size with a very comfy bed. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We didn’t eat so can’t comment on the food. It has a really nice pool, tucked away. Plus it’s a really good location for the centre
We had quite a noisy room on the corner of two streets. Having said that, we slept well as we had just walked up a volcano, but it could disturb light sleepers

This is a beautiful property in the heart of the city. It has secure parking for my motorcycle, although it is a bit of a walk from the parking to the room. Internet speed is fast, the AC works well,, and the hot water is good.
When I checked in it was 1 hour before check-in time, and the clerk told me I could have the room, but I would need to pay an extra $15, which was about 20% of the total cost of the room. I really don't like it when hotels attempt to take advantage of their guests by charging an exorbitant amount to get access to the room one hour early. Since I left the room several hours before check-out time, I'm wondering if I can get a refund on an hourly basis. At $15 an hour, I should get almost a full refund.
