Lassana Villa

Our stay at Lassana was great, there was 5 of us (2 couples & 1 single) so we fit in the downstairs apartment perfectly. Kalum was such a great host, he gave us a lot of recommendations of what to do for our 2 days here which included visiting Horton plains NP to do the worlds end loop and then also walking 13kms of the Pekoe trail through the tea plantations. Brekfast was included in our stay and was delicious! Location was great

A charming host with good English and passion for the region. He makes an excellent cup of tea! The rooms are well equipped - comfortable bed, good bathroom and a lovely shared lounge where travellers can meet up. The walk into town is down hill and easy to navigate. We didn't need a tuk tuk. Very good breakfast in the 'room with a view' dining room. ♥️

Warm atmosphere, delicious breakfast, comfortable and clean. Kalum and his family are great hosts! Kalum was very helpful in dropping me to the starting point of Pekoe Trail Stage 22 in Kadalopa and to NanuOya station. The stay is in a good location near to Single Tree Hill and short walk into town centre. Thank you for making me feel welcome!

Kallum was the most enthusiastic helpful host. From picking me up, suggesting the most amazing things, and probably the best Sri Lankan breakfast I’d had all trip, the dal curry was so good. Nuwara Eliya is cold, but Kallum provided more blankets so I was fine at night. The shower was the best I’d had in Sri Lanka, nice and hot and a perfect pressure. I saw some people in reviews were confused about it, but Kallum explained how to use it clearly on my arrival. The rooms were really nice and not damp at all, and there is an awesome common area. If you are fit, everything is within walking distance. I had one full day of walking and was able to see most of the things I wanted in Nuwara Eliya, plus Kallums suggestions. 100% stay here, and if I came back I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
