Green Hotel & Restaurant

Much better than expected. Large room, comfortable bed, nice shower. Close to the railway station with a few decent places to eat close by (we didn’t try their restaurant but it looked ok). The room was well sound proofed. No noise from outside. Tea making facilities in room.

It was fine for the money. Perhaps they could change the net curtains which were torn and dirty.

The bed was very comfy

Despite the grotty busy city street location, this was one of the nicest hotels I stayed at during my tour of India. Excellent food menu and restaurant service. Busy restuarant with atmosphere and locals eating there out of choice. Proximity to railway station is ideal. A TuKTuk driver was able to show me some of the temples close to the town as well as one or two nice places in the surrounding countyside which was easy to reach.

Dusty, busy, city street outside with no real character although it did come to life a little after dark.

Only the Restaurant was good, Food quality at Restaurant was upto the mark.

Food quality for Room Service was pathetic. Location of the Hotel is bang in the market, a bit noisy. Also spaces in the hotel were very clumsy, not much space to move around, including at Front Office and Entrance.
