A charming place

We really enjoyed staying here. The location was perfect, right next to the sea, and close to all main city facilities which we needed to reach. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, and the view from balcony was truly charming.

The breakfast was to be ordered by menu. We prefer more flexible options (buffet) but this is a matter of taste!

Local village experience

The location is great, walking distance to town center, church, plenty of restaurants and shops. The rooms are nicely appointed with sea view. They serve adequate breakfast. Limited parking is available.

Inadequate housekeeping. Linens are mismatched, beach towels are non-existent. The ones we were provided have seen better days. They do not own a commercial drier and dry towels and linens on the racks outside the building. Dirty table clothes at the beach cafe, not washed for days. They do not own commercial or any dishwasher for that purpose, dishes are washed by hand and therefore not 100% clean. Big sanitary issue. Common use areas are not tidy and not air-conditioned.

Spacious apartment close to the beach and town.

The apartment was spacious and the staff made a special effort to make up the sofa bed as we were two friends travelling. Location is great, beach/sea view and close to town/restaurants/bars and easy taxi to Stari Bar (Old Town) - which is definitely worth a visit.

Some of the advertised facilities were not ready - the beach area/restaurant was still being decorated/set up - (sun bathing around the workmen/ wet paint etc) no bikes provided as advertised - disappointing as the booking was made last year. Breakfast was limited and many things not provided I assume as it was still relatively low occupancy.

Absolutely beautiful spot, in the middle of pine trees. Very quiet and clean with all modern furniture. Our kid loved balcony with sea view. Highly recommend for family with children.

The room was great, nice view, close to the beach.

I wish more transparent pet policy. They charge upfront, and it's not refundable. However, they said that the pet would cost another 25 Euro. The room price was 60 Euro. I didn't like that but they didn't propose to cancel and refund.

Seems that it is one of the best places to stay in Bar.

Very comfortable flat with a good quality bed in the bedroom. Very friendly staff and the owners. Free parking is available. Nice beach bar with good home made food and coffee. Very close to the sea. Little play zone for kids downstairs.

A bit difficult access to the sea as there are big stones there. Not the best option if you travel with little kids who cannot swim. Special aqua shoes are highly recomended to solve this problem.

Montenegro is overpriced and has nothing to do with good service

The hotel is located on first line, the beach is within 1 minute reach. There is a part of the beach that belongs to Kuce Lekovice, the sunbeds are free for hotel’s visitors (you can take as many as required). However, the beach is not private, meaning that outsiders can also come and reserve sunbeds (it costs 5€/each for outsiders). In general there are always enough sunbeds in the morning even at ~10-11 AM. Beautiful view from the room’s balcony. Beach towels are provided for free and can be changed upon request. There is a choice of 10 different breakfast options in the morning, mostly they are omelette variations and pancakes. The hotel’s staff is very helpful in case you need something (it’s hard to find them sometimes, however). We had 2-room family suit, it had a small kitchen + fridge, so it is possible to cook food yourself if you prefer. The supermarket is 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Room cleaning take place every 3 days (the maid really puts efforts to make it all tidy). To sum up, the biggest advantage of the hotel is its location: right in front of the sea.

1. The staff is not hospitable: we were never given any kind of tour / explanations about our stay, the facilities available for us etc. Had to ask for everything later ourselves. When we were leaving the hotel, nobody asked “Did you enjoy your stay?” They even didn’t say “goodbye”. 2. Internet quality is AWFULL. It’s hard to connect (takes few attempts), you get disconnected randomly, the bandwidth is ~ 5Mbps (though the owner said they have 10Gb fiber channel). You will have HUGE troubles making video calls since it hangs all the time and you basically won’t be able to interact normally. The beach also has Wi-fi, but you are getting disconnected every single minute, so almost impossible to use. 3. The room’s furniture was quite old (with dirt spots on armchairs/sofas 4. There was a spider web in some corners of the room 5. The 2nd (additional) bed was in fact a sofa transformer with a mattress placed in top of it. The sofa had a lot of steel mechanical parts exposed, so you can possible hurt yourself if you get out from bed too careless. 6. ACs are not integrated, but they are floor-based ones. Each room has a separate AC which is good. What is bad is that one of the ACs seem to need cleaning (it was full of dust inside and produced an odor of worn socks each time when turned on). Also, the same AC had some issues refusing to work one day (this got fixed itself the next day however). 7. Almost each time I’ve tried to change beach towels, the staff had troubles finding 4 clean ones. So in general they just gave the bath towels instead. 8. The beach is stony, I mean STONY. It consists of big stones and going swimming w/o special shoes is merely impossible. 9. The cooking quality is average, but this applies to most Bar cafees/rests. 10. The phone in our room didnt work If you are planning to come/leave the hotel via taxi, make sure to confirm with receptionist lady and with driver the price for transfer before you leave.

The apartment was very comfortable, very clean, well equipped and furnished, and by the sea. Great view from the balcony and it was great to have access to the beach of the hotel, with sun beds, umbrellas and all.

The beach view with the sunset every evening, the sound of the waves and the birds. I came just before the season would start, meaning the area was quiet, but almost all the bars and restaurants were open. The staff was very nice and helpful. My son enjoyed the one-week stay very much too. I might come back!
