Apartment Hanja

The apartment itself is very good -10. Everything you need, nice, contemporary. The washing machine, kitchen utilities, airconditioning. There is parking place. The host is nice and helpful- welcome wine and water in the fridge.

The apartment is 4th floor, no lift, you have to go up 4 levels on the hot staircase. The seeview and the terrace with sunbeds is superb, but the house is on the 4 lane always high traffic street, where the noise is constant! So you do not use the sunbeds excep if you like laying on the busy street. The wifi is not stable. The surroundings of the house are very filthy - no grass, just a monster abandoned building site. I mean you do not have a holiday feeling.

This is a nice little apartment, very tastefull, with the stuff you could need on your vacation. We even found a ball which we took with us one day to the beach to play with! And beach umbrella. In the kitchen there’s everything you could do with to even prepare some simple meals, there’s cutlery, plates… We found no mugs, but there are glasses. The living room is spatious enough that even when we had the couch pulled out, our two children had a nice wiggle room before bedtime. The owner is very nice, he assisted us and helped us when we needed that. The location is close enough to the beach that even my whiny 5 y.o. managed, who usually moans when he has to walk a little. Yes, the noise of the road is loud. As would be at any place in the first building next to it. Our friends stayed further, and a 5-10min walk can bring you into quieter streets. But then you’d be that much further to the beach. Some review mentioned that there is a construction near this apartment building with sometime nasty smell. Well, we smelled maybe 3 times sewage, but only at the entrance to the building, it does not smell at the third floor where the apartment is. The view is fantastic, the sunset is breathtaking from the balcony. There is ac unit in the livingroom/kitchen area and the bedroom as well (this is very important in the heat that can be at Bar) The only disadvantage would be that in the living room the sleeping accomodation is a pullout couch, which is..well, a pull out couch isn’t the comfiest, is it? :) But nonetheless, it’s ok.

The parking situation next to the building is not that great. In the proximity of the building there are very few parking spaces (4-5maybe? and 2 in the back), which usually got taken. There is a kids playspace at the ground floor and they had some issues with us parking near the entrance. You could park a little further in front of the next building-a new parking place, or where everybody is parking near the beach-but this is too far to haul your luggage from and it’s a dirt “road”. So the parking was the drawback, the location and the place aside from this is excellent!

Apartment was great, owner is realy nice person. Beach is 200 m further...

In the neighborhood was big construction site, it was realy noisy and dusty
