Lovely Agriturismo

We had a very large room with a stunning view of the valley. Well equipped and very clean. Good and sumptuous breakfasts and dinner.

Wifi Connection was shaky and signal too weak in parts of the room.

Definitely would stay again if in the area.

Perfect location for views and quiet. Hosts were attentive but leave you alone if required. Typical Italian breakfast that was freshly made in the morning. Even though it's up the hillside from the town it was only 1 mile walking to restaurants. Secure location.

A perfect place to stay, tranquil and yet only a short walk into the pretty town.

We were made to feel most welcome by the owners. The property is quite beautiful and very stylish and the homemade breakfast a bonus.

Beautiful location and a short drive to the Old Bridge, which is a main attraction of the town. The breakfast was incredible and I enjoyed it with a stunning view of the valley below.

Everything about the Relais S. Ambrogio is a knock out.

Beautiful scenery, quiet surroundings, with a chance to walk across the nearby Roman bridge “Ponte Gobbo” aka “Devil’s Bridge” into the heart of the beautiful little medieval town of Bobbio. The proprietors are delightful people who look after their guests with generosity and kindness. And, impotent, the food was overwhelming abundant and delicious

Stunning small hotel with exceptional views, nothing not to like. Fantastic hosts with such a friendly welcoming. Dinner was fabulous, we had a taster menu.

A great location in al aspects

Absolutely a great location. Very nice view on Bobbio from the large balcony that our room had. The hosts are great people and make you feel very welcome. The breakfast was very good.

Absolutely stunning property with hospitality to match!❤️

We spent three glorious nights at Relais Sant Ambrogio and even though it rained, it absolutely surpassed any expectations we may have had when we booked. A true northern Italian experience not to be missed. Relais Sant Ambrogio is a classic styled homestead with comfortable large rooms and notable attention to detail. With stunning views, it sits on a hillside overlooking picturesque Bobbio. Giovana and Paulo are the most amazing hosts who go out of their way to ensure everything is perfect. Their philosophy is to create a family atmosphere with home cooked meals matched with beautiful organic wine. The food and wine is lovingly grown and produced on the property. Relais Sant Ambrogio feels like home and Paolo and Giovana are kind and generous. Giovana has an earthy warmth that comes out in her unforgettable dishes. She loves cooking and is happy to cater for her guests dietary requirements. Giovana went to great lengths for me as a vegetarian to provide the most exquisite mouth watering meals fresh from the farm. I have never tasted anything like it, accompanied by the most incredible natural wines from their vineyard. If you want a true northern Italian gastronomic experience in a stunning location do yourself a favor and don’t go past Relais Sant Ambrogio. We will definitely be back!

Would thoroughly recommend this memorable and authentic experience to everyone

The location was incredible and our room (the balcony suite) was spectacular. Super clean, very comfortable and lots of welcome extras (fridge, fresh coffee, toiletries etc). The food was utterly delicious and good value. Owners were super welcoming, but achieved the perfect balance between attentiveness and providing adequate space to relax.

I can’t wait to come back!

Giovanni’s cooking was what dreams are made of. Absolutely incredible. They were kind and the room and bathroom were SO nice. The town is small and sleepy- the stay was so memorable. You can see the stars and truly relax.

The only thing that was lacking for me was air conditioning but it was honestly doable even in the height of summer. And I didn’t love that I got bitten by mosquitoes :(

Very nice location, recently renovated with style - relaxing choice for international tourist

Breakfast rich of genuine and tasty ingredients on the sweet side. Wonderful panorama.

Not easy to find, a bit remote in a wonderful location almost opposite Bobbio medieval town. As we were in a rush, we called the relais for instructions but ended up getting even more confused and irritated. In the end, the owner lady came to pick us up.

Great views and good food

The agriturismo, run by Paolo and Giovanna, is like a dream come true. It is well positioned above Bobbio, offering an expansive view of the Trebbia valley. The farmhouse has been tastefully restored. Giovanna cooked us and the other guests a wonderful meal, using mostly ingredients from the valley and traditional recipes.

Relais Sant Ambrogio is wonderful!

We had the most delightful time at Relais Sant Ambrogio. Giovanna and Poulo are wonderful hosts. The room was comfortable and the view of Bobbio was magnificent. We highly recommend this agriturismo for those who love traditional cooking and Paolo’s biodynamic wines.

Absolutely beautiful view, spacious and lovely rooms, wonderful hosts

We absolutely plan to be back at this wonderful gem near Bobbio! The house is amazing, and the owners so wonderful and kind. We were so very disappointed that the one night we stayed there (Wed) happened to be the one night the kitchen was closed, but she was able to make a reservation for us at her favorite restaurant in town. And then the breakfast we had the next morning was incredible, with an incredible view!

Everything was perfect! Our only disappointment was that we found out upon arrival that the restaurant was closed that night, which just gives us another reason to be back!

Well located near Bobbio, so peaceful and restful. Once you are there everything you require is available. We had the most wonderful meal which remains memorable.

The road up to the house is quite narrow but once you have arrived it is worth it

very nice location and great facility: clean, quite and immerse in the nature and very nice hospitality

air conditioning might be needed during hot season (unfortunately recently it is hotter than expected!!). the “no menu and just enjoy what we serve” dinner concept was nice and genuine, but I found it limited in particular on the drink. food was simple, nice and local, but I would have preferred to choose my wine and drink it as much as I wanted, instead it was included in the price and rationed. also I would have enjoyed a digestive after dinner but was not served 🙁

Great location up on a hill surrounded by nature an beautyful views. Walking distance down to the the old Devils bridge that lead over the river in to the beautyful mid eval town of Bobbio. Big parking at the property. Luxurious rooms with with well modern bath-room equipped with jacuzi and great shower. Nice brakfast with loads of pastries and cockies for those who like. Friendly and helpful owners giving good ans useful recomendations.
