The staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived and provided a lovely breakfast both mornings we were there. The dining room has a tea/coffee area where we could help ourselves, also a water cooler. The room itself was nice and spacious with a beautiful view, and the bed was really comfortable. The location is not right in the town centre, but we found it easy to walk around. You'll notice the cool climate definitely helps. The first night we walked down to Themparadu for dinner and that was fantastic. Our room also had a balcony and we could exit via an external door if we wanted to.
We can't really fault anything about House of Leisure.

The location is excellent, so as Saman who owns the property, he is so very approachable & friendly & superbly guides for the sight & needs in Eliya .. i genuinely recommend house of leisure as your value for money stay
Won't call it a dislike, but if there can be customised lunch / dinner options especially for vegetarians would do world of good as the town doesn't offer any excellent veg food across

Not much options on breakfast, no proper internet coverage in rooms, no continous hot water in shower room
