About this apartment rental
Ocean Sands, an upscale and well maintained complex, features one of the beach's largest and finest pool areas. Enjoy a hot tub, spacious lounging area, and panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico and pristine beaches. Conveniently located near excellent restaurants, shopping, and activities, we offer easy access to downtown St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and the renowned attractions of Tampa.
This upper floor (10th) unit shows an incredible panoramic view from the large private balcony for world-class direct Sunset viewing or gazing out at the Gulf of Mexico's calming water. The condo has been tastefully decorated with comfort and space in mind, and is setup for an extended winter break or a perfect Florida beach vacation.
-- Large beach facing living rom with comfortable seating, large TV, dining area for 6, and direct access to the balcony.
-- Primary bedroom with king size bed, beach view, large walk-in closet. Private access to Balcony.
-- Spacious primary bathroom with double sinks and large tub/shower combo.
-- Second bedroom with both a full size and twin size bed and private access to guest bathroom.
-- Updated guest bathroom with tiled walk-in shower.
-- Granite counter top and stainless steele appliances in a well equipped kitchen for all meal preparation needs.
-- TV's in both bedrooms, and we do have an extra twin size rollaway bed if needed.
-- Tile floors throughout (including balcony). Plenty of seating. Full Size Washer and Dryer in the condo. Extra rollout twin size bed for additional sleeping capacity.
If your reservation falls in the Winter months (mid-December through February 1), please be aware that the Ocean Sands building closes the pool and spa area if the temperature does not reach 68 degrees during the day.
We help make the most of your vacation by providing Free Admission to some of the area's top activities & attractions each and every day, including Busch Gardens, The Clearwater Aquarium, The Dali Museum, The Tampa Zoo, evening cruises, bike rentals and more! Our visit was so relaxing and the condo was exceptional. With all the damage from last fall to Maderia Beach and neighboring communities, I didn't realize how fortunate we were to get this booking until we arrived.. it is amazing what has been renovated, restored &/or rebuilt so far. The beach is beautiful & well maintained too. 10th floor with only 1 elevator was the only hiccup especially when they were both down one day. Walking down 10 flights not horrible but back up..gonna take me forever. I was either trapped inside the condo or on the beach. I chose the ⛱️!! One elevator was back in business around 4:00 pm. I look forward to next visit next year.

Beautiful property. Although a good distance from John’s Pass, it was in a great location. We ate at several restaurants that are in walking distance.

The apartment is comfortable, well-located, and the area is very quiet. One criticism is that the mattress on the small bed, which is no longer usable, should be replaced, and If that bed can be replaced with a slightly more comfortable one, all the better.

The property was well maintained. The condo is out dated and was unclean. Washer is rusty, floors dirty, pot holders and toaster oven filthy, sheets were stained, mold in fridge, dryer lint tray full of lint. One should not have to clean the condo before enjoying their vacation. Cost was very high when you consider condition of the condo. Area and weather was great.
