    We had a lovely stay at this hotel right in the Alfama and just a few steps way from the 28 tram and with the castle at the back. Breakfast was al a carte with great choices and the service staff were amazing. We would highly recommend staying here.

    Lovely hotel . Outside space for eating if preferred- excellent breakfast. Compared to the standard of food in Lisbon as a whole, Audreys restaurant was very good. Staff so helpful. Large rooms but no sunlight or view on mine. Hotel has a glimpse of water but view obscured by buildings in front. Bus route on the road of the outside eating area.

    Set in a former palace, high in Alfama away from the bustle of the city, this is a tranquil, superbly run hotel with a sense of style and dignity. The staff were response and polite, the breakfasts delicious and our room was spotlessly clean and had high quality linen and plenty of space. I celebrated my birthday here and they prepared a delicious desert and sent it to the room. The only negative was there is no pool, but the positives far outweighed that.

    This is a great hotel but even better is the exceptional staff! The location in the old town of Alfama is also great. You can walk to many scenic and interesting places and the street the hotel is on is pretty quiet. Audrey’s restaurant has a lovely patio and good food, artfully presented with a very attentive and friendly wait staff. We would stay here again!
