Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time in Chincoteague at Seagull’s Perch. The rental was as described and very clean and tidy. We picked up our keys at the rental agency which was only a few blocks from the condo. The kitchen was well stocked and greatly appreciated as we cooked most of our meals during our five night stay. Our two granddaughters enjoyed the toy cupboard and beach/pool toys and we took advantage of the washer and dryer. The 3 tv’s were all new(and big), and the balcony was a great place to sit out in the morning and evening. We spent lots of time at the beach, but also enjoyed having a pool to cool off. The mattresses are extremely firm, so a foam topper might be necessary if you are used to pillow topped mattresses, as we were. We also would have appreciated a rug in the master bathroom- the floor was very slippery after using the jacuzzi bath or shower. But other than those two concerns, we had the best time. The island is an amazing place to visit, not too touristy, lots of activities, with a beautiful National Park and beach minutes away. We enjoyed Island Creamery for ice cream and highly recommend Captain Barry’s Tour. Three generations enjoyed the Captain’s fun, interactive and informative 2 hour boat ride, as we fished for crabs, collected oysters, gathered small fish in a large net and learned so much about the area. The beach and park were so enjoyable each day, even as Hurricane Erin approached. I would have loved to visit a few more specialty shops, but will save them for a return trip. Thank you so much for allowing us to use your condo for our vacation.

Great place!

We've been to Chincoteague many times and this is hands down the best place we've stayed, best view in town, spacious, comfortable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As far as the rental unit goes, it was sufficient. None of the fry pans worked well, a griddle would have been nice for pancakes. The vacuum cleaners did not work well. The walls could usea coat of paint. The pool was continuously cloudy, but the water was warm yet refreshing. I did see people with glass beer bottles and vaping. Sunset Bay is really a lovely location. Having stayed there before I will return.
