About this house rental
This is a magnificent brand new built home, just completed June 2018. It has 6 bedrooms and 3.5 bath's situated on the St. Lawrence River. It is perfect for family vacations, reunions, couples retreats, or fishing getaways. One of the very few private cottages on Wellesley Island that can accommodate up to 16 people. Wake up to a spectacular view of the sun rising over the St. Lawrence River while you watch the international ships passing a few hundred feet from your dock. This cottage is accessible by boat or car. Over 150' of private dockage onsite, so bring your boat and water toys. Onsite parking for up to 6 vehicles. Trailers can be stored at the state park down the road for a small fee paid to the park. It doesn't get any easier than that!!! With over 3/4 of an acre of fenced-in, park-like setting, you will feel like you are on your own private estate.
Never worry about losing your key. House has a key-less entry lock with a back light keypad. Code is changed at the end of your stay.
Recently purchased in 2013, and rebuilt from the ground up in June 2018. It has wonderful new amenities. The master bedroom suite is on the second floor with a King bed and ceiling fan. Second floor balcony is located off the master suite, you can relax and take in the breath taking views. There is another bedroom on the second floor with a king bed. Two Full bathrooms with tub/shower, double sink and toilet. Two more bedrooms upstairs with queen over queen bunks. Downstairs there is a bedroom with a queen bed & in the game room, there is a queen sofa sleeper. There is a full bathroom with tub/shower and double vanity. There is a 1/2 bath also on the first floor. Enjoy the large open floor plan of the living room and kitchen with panoramic views of the river. All linens and pillows are included.
Please feel free to use our fire pit. Also, enjoy our large furnished patio and propane grill. Grounds are professionally maintained.
All the comforts of your own home with a washer and dryer in a separate laundry room. Dishwasher, sinkerator, large refrigerator/freezer, large island in kitchen.
Only a few miles away, take the Uncle Sam Boat Tour to see Boldt Castle, Singer Castle, and Canada. See Thousand Islands Park, a community filled with old-fashioned charm including original merchant buildings from the mid-1800’s, Victorian-style homes, and make a reservation for a memorable dinner at the four-star Wellesley Hotel. Visit the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton, the War of 1812 Museum in Alexandria Bay, and enjoy good prices on shopping in area towns. Crystal clear waters make for the best fishing around. Watch the fish swim right before your eyes as you relax on our dock. Bring your passports for the short drive into Canada for more shopping, sightseeing, and entertainment.

There was 8 adults and 5 children in our group that stayed here.This home was very nice and modern.The area around it was beautiful. We enjoyed our time there. We did have issues. The first huge problem was that Jerry and Janet falsely advertised the home. When we rented this place we thought we were getting a 4 bedroom home with a big game room and a sun porch that had alot of parking and nice yard. The game room, parking . and yard was our biggest reasons for renting this place because we had children. 3 weeks or so before going on our vacation we see a couple pictures had changed we contact them to find out the original home had burned down. which we were never notified. When we arrived they were still working on the home so we had to wait 45 mins to check in. The parking was all along a busy narrow road and you were not allowed to use the drive way. which would have been great to have know since my father in law has a disability and has trouble walking. Which he did fall numerous times walking down the sloped walk way to the other door. The house was bigger so less lawn. oh what lawn? half of it was just seeded so we couldn't walk on it and there was glass around the yard so we had to be careful where we walked. The owners drove by on their jet skis almost everyday to check up on us. Then they had left their boat there so they had to come get that 2 days. So you're under watch. There was sheet rock dust all over the walls .they had locks on the thermostats so you couldn't adjust the temp so we would be cold during the day hot at night. They had no railings coming down the stairs. No GFI outlets near any water sources no outlet covers in one of the bedrooms. We had brown water for 2 days after it rained. They made custom bunk beds out of pine even the slats. The last day we were there my pregnant sister in law sat on the foot of the bed and one of the slats cracked and broke thank god she wasn't hurt. The slat where it broke was at a knot in the wood which you shouldn't use a soft would for slats. They didn't return part of our deposit because they said they had to bring in their builder to fix the bed, they tried to say our kids were fighting 5 mins after we were there and knocked the solar light off the railing nope my niece bumped it coming outside and Janet picked it up and said to Jerry shouldn't we glue theses things down.Piece of crap air hockey table that was broke when we arrived they said we broke it.
