About this cottage rental
This is a very special property that was built in the 1950's. The entire cottage has been updated while still keeping the original charm of a special getaway. A winding wooded driveway, which ends at the cottage, giving complete privacy from the street. Enter the cottage into a great room which is surrounded by windows and sliding doors giving a spectacular view of the St. Lawrence River. The kitchen recently renovated, has a full size refrigerator, conventional oven and an island all facing the open living and dining areas. A beautiful stone fireplace with a gas insert will add to the ambiance and keep it warm on cool nights. There is a large Smart TV in front of two comfortable leather couches. The cottage has 2 bedrooms on the main floor with an adorable loft above. The Master bedroom has it own 1/2 bath, Smart TV and a queen size bed that is facing the River. The cozy second bedroom has two twin beds. The loft features a pull down ladder for easy access to a charming area that easily sleeps two. The new washer / dryer are conveniently located in their own laundry room. Wake up to the sunrise while sitting on the spacious deck that feels like it is on top of the water. Enjoy the international ships that pass so close you feel like you could touch them. A St. Lawrence granite fire place is located at the waters edge with a picnic table, Adirondack chairs and a beautiful view of the 1000 Island Bridge.

Our stay was so restful. We loved watching the boats from the deck and also the yard. The property is right on the water and it was clean enough to swim. Refreshing!!! Our hosts checked on us to make sure everything was satisfactory. It far exceeded our expectations.
