The views from the apartment and terrace are quite spectacular! The apartment has plenty of space, even thought the layout is rather odd. The location is very good and within walking distance to many attractions. The staff kindly guided us to recover an object we left behind after checkout, which was nice. I think the stairs add up to the experience (if you do not have physical disabilities, of course) :)

The key is picked up at the company's counter not too far from the place (ca. 1,5 km?), but it may be inconvenient if you have suitcases. The downstairs door is quite tricky to open, which may prove frustrating. We booked the place for three nights six people, but there really isn't a 6th bed - there's a very thin, uncomfortable mattress instead. There are no basic ingredients to cook (e.g., salt, oil); and only one or two rolls of toilet paper, no extra trash bags (that we could find, at least) - for for six people over three nights. The apartment is quite standard for Portugal in terms of heating/insolation - not very good, as windows and doors leak and sounds easily get through. Nothing earplugs and warm clothes can't fix, though! At the end, the staff was passive-aggressive because of a miscommunication regarding the offered free-transfer. In short: upon checking I mentioned I would contact them later regarding airport transfers upon checkout; on the checkout day, I reminded the staff via WhatsApp I would be requesting the transfer later the same day; when I finally requested the transfer, I was informed it had to be requested at least 24 hours in advance. It is a fair and understandable policy, but when I told the staff it would have been nice to be informed upon check-in or earlier the same day when I mentioned the transfer, they were rude and asked something along the lines "Were you ever told you could request a transfer last-minute?". Just unnecessary.

Angled roof not good for taller people Step ups to kitchen - trip hazard It is on the 4th floor. About 6 sets of stairs. Last set of stairs extremely narrow and steep. Very difficult with luggage and also after a long day out exploring. Cannot go up and down multiple times a day way too much. Have to pick up the key on the other side of town. Very inconvenient. The key to the main door is very difficult to use and does not open easily. Difficult to contact operators - no what’s app contact details provided and slower response to emails when issue encountered (we were unable to unlock the door on arrival)
